“¿Vienes a cenar” “Un momento”
“A dormir” “Un momento”
10 minutos para navegar junto a Long John Silver.
He abierto un libro y he comenzado a leer.

The bosses we are thankful for and admire:
1 told us our work mattered
2 opened career doors
3 defended us when we needed it
4 recognized and rewarded us
5 developed us as leaders
6 inspired us to stretch higher
7 led by example
8 provided us a safe space to grow
9 forgave us when we made mistakes
10 appreciated high rate of learning
11 challenged assumptions starting with their own
12 were player coaches - skin in the game
13 apologized when they made mistakes
14 sponsored our work (career pathing)
15 led us by questions not answers (taught us how to think, not what to think)
16 in a celebration led from the back, in a crisis led from the front, in the presence of a better plan, followed side-to-side
17 proactively asked for feedback
18 allowed the best ideas to win, not the best titles
19 showed up on time, left when it made sense to leave
20 did not speak poorly behind others back

We are deeply saddened by the news of Dikembe Mutombo’s passing.
Dikembe was a proud and honorable man, who lived up to the definition of a word that became synonymous with his name – humanitarian. He used his many gifts and his platform to improve the lives of everyone he encountered, especially in his homeland of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and throughout Africa.
His passion for the game, its growth and the joy he brought to defense – including his undeniable presence and iconic ‘finger wag’ – made him a star on the court and with the fans around the globe.
I was fortunate to have been able to call him a friend. My family and I were beyond proud to have him represent the Hawks organization on and off the court. With his jersey in the rafters, his life and legacy will always be remembered in Atlanta.
On behalf of the entire Hawks organization, our thoughts, prayers and support are with Rose and their family at this difficult time.

Super Sky Point to “The Logo” himself, the great Jerry West. A gold medalist and 14-time All-Star over 14 NBA seasons. A man who heartbreakingly lost in seven finals, four times over seven-game series, before finally winning his only ring as a player in 1972. A competitor so deadly he was named MVP of the 1969 finals even though the Lakers LOST the series. A man so smart he became arguably an even better talent guru than player while winning eight rings from the front office and twice being named NBA Executive of the Year.
He was Mr. Clutch. Zeke from Cabin Creek. Whatever you call him, recognize this man possessed the heart of a champion. And they better not ever change that fucking logo. #RIP
