Founder from Malaga🇪🇸

Cofounded a company at 16 and made $50k+ before turning 18.

Then lost $30k to ego trading

Got a 75% scholarship to study Computer Science and AI at Spain's top university

Somewhere in the middle I shut the startup down and took a gap year from entrepreneurship. It was a big knock

Came back with personal projects and internships

Graduated in July, started as an AI Engineer at Vidalytics and founded Quetzal, an AI community manager for SMEs in Spain

Now: grinding 12h a day, but more fulfilled than ever

Quiero que entendáis un poco la locura en la que me he metido

Y voy a hacer todo público

Meta -> 3.5k MRR

Antes decía lo típico de build in public y tal

Pero ahora voy a compartir todo incluidas las decisiones que voy afrontando

Quién sabe lo que puedo ganar

Funde la empresa hace dos meses y desde entonces:

> Proyectos completados con 8 clientes
> Lanzado la plataforma
> He contratado a una persona para que se dedique a la empresa 24/7
> Acabamos de cruzar los 1100 de MRR en suscripciones a nuestra plataforma
> +50 signups
> 2 productos más en el pipeline cerca de salir

Todo esto con 22 y mientras trabajo como AI Engineer en una empresa de USA

Hice unos cuantos proyectos para empresas este verano. Proyectos con los que conseguí acumular suficiente dinero para poder contratar a un ingeniero hasta enero

Contando salarios, gastos, y un margen mínimo para crecimiento, necesito unos 3500 euros de MRR para que el proyecto sea viable

Todo antes de enero

Lanzamos hace 3 semanas y esta es la situación

Speed is the moat

Básicamente tengo que triplicar el negocio actual

> Cuál es el negocio?

Pues la plataforma, Quetzal, es un AI Community Manager. Haré videos dentro de poco porque es mucho más completo y sofisticado de lo que la gente piensa

Al menos ese es el feedback que he recibido en reuniones con leads

Es una herramienta capaz de llevar las redes sociales de una empresa de forma completamente automática. Todo por mucho menos dinero que una agencia que solo publica cosas genéricas

Estamos intentando contactar y hablar con pymes. Todavía no tenemos claro cuál es la manera más eficiente de hacerlo pero estamos explorando nuevas vías

Una con la que hablamos pagaba 800€ al mes por 2 PUBLICACIONES

Una auténtica LOCURA

Por eso sabemos que hay un buen hueco para que podamos irrumpir con fuerza en el mercado

Estamos pensando hacer más público un sistema de afiliados pero no tengo ni idea de cómo estructurar algo así

Me encantaría saber vuestras opiniones y experiencias

Así como cualquier consejo que podáis tener los que hayáis pasado por algo parecido

I’ve been thinking for some time that Salesforce is humongously cooked if they don’t pivot soon

Their pricing is completely ridiculous and they have large, much better competitors

Hubspot is an amazing solutions and is much much better in every measurable way

But for Salesforce’s prices, it is more than worth it for a company to build their own CRM or change it to Hubspot
