"It was perfect fit for me"

DeMarcus Lawrence on the transition from the Cowboys to the Seahawks and what worries he had in making the move at first 🏈

[Setting The Edge @SettingTheEdge]

Does it seem really strange nothing was said about a team who's played at sea level all season going to play at 4,637'?! 👀🤔🙄🤦🏽‍️

If Houston's very balanced & high scoring offense (39.3 ppg) along with their solid run defense wins on the road in Utah it will be a massive upset!

[Pro Football Network @PFN365]

Can Ole Miss take town Texas in Austin? Will Houston defeat Utah in a pivotal Big 12 clash? PFN's @CamMellor, @hodgkinsonsport, and @CFBMaxChadwick are live with their picks and predictions for college football Week 8. https://t.co/WBwjoLW5sn

Walker has always handled himself as a consummate pro.

The agent comment isn't nothing. There's been a lot of "Seattle never made an offer" talk and criticism this week, but that's just semantics.

The agent knew exactly how high John Schneider was willing to go, and Schneider knew exactly what the market was going to bear for KWIII. So... why make a formal offer when you know it won't even be close?

I'd argue THAT is more insulting than actually making it in the first place.

[Setting The Edge @SettingTheEdge]

After waiving Trevon Diggs are the #Seahawks looking to add an all-pro from the #Colts like G Quenton Nelson or RB Jonathan Taylor?! 👀🤔🤩💚💙

[Tom Pelissero @TomPelissero]

The Colts have received strong trade interest in Quenton Nelson and DeForest Buckner, and no player is expected to be off-limits – if they decide to sell before the Nov. 10 deadline.

Most total disruptions among DB this season (sacks + QB hits + pressures + TFL):

1. Nick Emmanwori – 17
2. Tykee Smith – 13
3. Budda Baker – 12
4. Kyle Hamilton – 11
5. Evan Williams - 11

@Airbnb this change is a myopic over reach poorly impacting 1,000s of superhosts who aren't booking vacationers. These guest stay opps are best options for contract, med pro & family support stays of 30+ days.

I have multiple clients who are booked 300+ days a year like this.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba WR ranks this season:

Receptions — 1st
Targets — 2nd
Receiving yards — 1st
Receiving TD — 1st
Receiving YPG — 1st
YAC — 3rd
First Downs — 1st

Calvin Johnson was the last player to lead the NFL in receiving yards in consecutive seasons (2011-2012).

[Setting The Edge @SettingTheEdge]

@mikejurecki Have you looked at the Chargers next 3 games? 👀🤔🙄 #CalledIt

[Setting The Edge @SettingTheEdge]

@MoveTheSticks How bad are the Chargers really? With this schedule 0-9 seems plausible.

[Setting The Edge @SettingTheEdge]

@DanielMockridge Fair point. Although that process over 4 year may have been Walker's inspiration to not go 💯 until the last 6 games.

[Setting The Edge @SettingTheEdge]

Did Walker sandbag the Seahawks?

Because why would any thinking running back drafted after round 1 put on a bunch of miles/take a ton of hits for a crap contract potentially never getting to a second contract when they can be OK until their contract year finish strong & get 💰.

[Setting The Edge @SettingTheEdge]

@FieldGulls Have to admit seeing the Rams "Suoer Team" in last place with 2 division losses takes some of the 3-3 sting out of the #Seahawks season.

[Field Gulls @FieldGulls]

It's mid-October and the Rams are in last place in the NFC West.

The Browns (who own the Rams first-rounder) are in first place in the AFC North.

[Setting The Edge @SettingTheEdge]

@MaryKayCabot Congrats MKC! This has to feel soooo strange.

[Setting The Edge @SettingTheEdge]

@RichMarks3 There are def some other possibilities but 98% of pro athletes are priorizing how to make the most $$$ out of their careers & RBs play the fewest years, take the most abuse & are way underpaid for it.

He probably added 4-6 yrs to his career having it "work out" this way.
