Arcadia Mayor Eileen Wang has been charged with violating 18 USC 951, acting in the United States as an illegal agent of the People’s Republic of China.

Wang appeared in federal court this afternoon for her arraignment. She agreed to plead guilty and resign from public office.

Wang admitted to acting as a foreign agent from at least 2020 through 2022. At the direction of the PRC government, she coordinated with individuals to promote PRC interests by spreading pro-PRC propaganda in the United States.

Wang faces a statutory maximum sentence of 10 years in federal prison.

A police pull over a car for heavily tinted windows. The officer approaches the passenger side and asks the passenger for ID. He refuses he’s not driving, didn’t break any laws, so why should he identify himself? After a tense exchange, officers discover the driver, his uncle has an active warrant.

A loud 'snap' was heard as McGinnis refused to leave the room after interrupting.

"Capitol Police were attempting to remove an unhinged protestor from the Armed Services hearing. He was fighting back. I decided to help out and de-escalate the situation," Sheehy said.

"This gentleman came to the Capitol looking for a confrontation, and he got one. I hope he gets the help he needs without causing further violence."

McGinnis faces 3 counts of assaulting a police officer and 3 counts of resisting arrest, as well as unlawful demonstration.
