#BREAKING: Psaki: “This week we also learned that despite the #UFC insisting that they will foot the bill for this whole thing, US taxpayers do appear to be subsidizing the event. A spokesperson for Washington DC told ESPN that the city expects to incur somewhere between $10-$12 million in supplemental security costs which will be paid for by a federal fund aka your tax dollars.” 🙄
NEW: At the Turning Point USA women's summit, conservatives speak freely about willingly giving up their right to vote.
"I would be okay with giving up my right to vote, because I know that [my husband] would represent me well,” said one attendee.

After installing trumps name, it took the work crew ~45 minutes to 1 hour to step down off the staging, descend the scaffolding, dismantle the lower safety railings, and safely unfasten and drop the tarps to reveal the newly branded facade to the public.
but can"t do it now?
KENNEDY CENTER LATEST: President Donald Trump's name was officially removed from the performing arts venue’s facade, but a tarp now conceals the updated signage. https://t.co/cgpcFkHSmP
1. Scaffolding: 8 hours on Friday to build scaffolding in front of the facade
2. Tarp: Hung ~1:30–2 a.m. Saturday
3. Letter removal: Started ~ 3:10 a.m. and was done in ~30 minutes. Letters came off mostly by hand with no power tools.

Have you seen those spotlights at the White House ahead of Sunday's UFC event?
I was curious if they would be an issue for pilots taking off and landing at Reagan National as those lights are tested, and put into use.
An FAA spokesperson tells me those spotlights are not strong enough to obstruct a pilot's view even if they were to move and be pointed in the direction of a plane.
BREAKING: This is the last known and verified image of retired Air Force Major General Neil McCasland, captured the day before he vanished (photo taken Thursday, February 26, 2026).
The Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office provided me with this photo after part of my FOIA request was finally fulfilled.
According to the image label, it was taken from an "Entry Main (door jamb cam)" surveillance camera at what appears to be the REI store in Santa Fe, which is the nearest REI location to McCasland's Quail Run neighborhood, approximately 6 to 8 miles away. REI is an outdoor/sporting goods store. In the photo, McCasland appears calm and composed. He's carrying a large white parcel tucked under his arm, along with a smaller boxed item and a yellow slip of paper. Unfortunately, the image contains no usable metadata, and the resolution isn't strong enough to determine exactly what the items were or what any of the packaging says. He is also wearing his apple watch.
One detail that stands out: McCasland doesn't appear to be carrying a traditional REI shopping bag. However, REI does allow customers to place orders online and pick them up in-store, leaving open the possibility that what he's carrying may have been retrieved rather than purchased during that visit....I'm currently going through all of the documents and will have updates here and @lamag...
@UAPJames Ive been hearing that line for many years from the exact same people. This whole thing is blatantly coordinated, believe whatever the heck you want, but there’s absolutely not an ounce of trustworthiness in those propping this circus up. You’re being manipulated, wake up.
why can't cbs report the facts? "The flyover featured a total of 12 jets flying in a rare, unified "Super Delta" formation, combining six U.S. Navy Blue Angels F/A-18 Super Hornets and six U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds F-16 Fighting Falcons."
@CBSNews i thought it was the thunderbirds and the blue angels? "The flyover featured a total of 12 jets flying in a rare, unified "Super Delta" formation, combining six U.S. Navy Blue Angels F/A-18 Super Hornets and six U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds F-16 Fighting Falcons."
"...when did saying thank you to women who served their country become a controversial statement?"

This cop needs to turn in their badge. How hard is it to apologize? Instead he doubles down and keeps asking people if it looked like a gun and everyone is like "um... no..." Israel trains US police to kill. This guy could have been another causality of Israeli training.
This picture is being circulated around social media today. It's probably AI - but it's also fucking hilarious.
Is it supposed to represent Trump meeting with his Illuminati vampiric masters? LOL. People create AI bullshit and stupid people believe it. Stop it. Just stop.
@jasonfifield@TheJFreakinC Are you grading citizenship now? bc neither birthplace nor speaking Spanish creates reasonable suspicion. And piling assumption on top of assumption doesn’t create a legal standard—it’s stereotyping, otherwise known as profiling. Maybe spend a few minutes with the 14th Amendment.
🚨BREAKING: A U.S. citizen was riding his bike in Laredo, Texas… when Border Patrol agents pulled alongside him and illegally tried to block him in.
When he kept riding, they chased him down, physically grabbed him by the arm, and immediately started demanding identification and asking where he was from.
He told them he born in Laredo, Texas.
But that was not good enough.
The agent asked, “What high school did you go to?”
He answered that, too… and they still kept demanding ID, over and over again.
The Fourth Amendment exists for a reason. In America, law enforcement don’t get to randomly stop people, physically grab them, and demand identification because they feel like it.
Being on a bike isn’t a crime.
You also don’t have to carry an ID on you unless you are operating a motor vehicle… which he was not.
So, demanding an ID, without probable cause, is illegal.
And the cherry on top? When the man went to use his phone, an agent tried to stop him by grabbing it… apparently unaware the entire encounter was already being recorded by his glasses.
If Border Patrol can stop an American born citizen riding his bike, demand his papers, and put their hands on him without stating a lawful reason… every American should be paying attention.
@jasonfifield@TheJFreakinC Ffs. Plenty of US citizens speak languages other the English. But hey, I guess you're also wondering why the US agents are speaking Spanish with a US citizen?? They should be able to speak fluent English , shouldn't they? What a Stupidfreakinpost.
