BREAKING: ARMED MAN BARRICADED ON SEPTA BUS IN FOX CHASE, CLAIMS HE KILLED TWO PEOPLE — SWAT ON SCENE

PHILADELPHIA — A major police response is underway in the Fox Chase section of Northeast Philadelphia after an armed man reportedly barricaded himself aboard a SEPTA bus Monday morning.

According to preliminary reports, the incident is unfolding on the 7900 block of Oxford Avenue, near Loney Street, involving a SEPTA Route 18 bus.

The man is reportedly armed with a handgun and refusing to exit the bus.

According to 6abc, the man allegedly told the bus driver that he had just killed two people. Police have NOT confirmed that claim, and there is currently no verified information establishing that two homicides occurred.

Philadelphia Police SWAT personnel are reportedly on scene, and surrounding streets have been closed as authorities work to resolve the situation.

Residents and motorists are urged to avoid the area and follow police instructions.

🚨WOW: A homeowner uses an AR-15 to stop three masked intruders armed with brass knuckles and a knife after they shatter a glass door to break into his home!

On March 27, 2017, three teenagers—19-year-old Maxwell Cook, 17-year-old Jacob Redfern, and 16-year-old Jaykob Woodriff—dressed in black, wearing masks and gloves, shattered a glass backdoor to force their way into a home in Wagoner County, Oklahoma.

The intruders were heavily armed with brass knuckles and a knife, intent on burglarizing the residence.
Inside, 23-year-old resident Zachary Peters heard the violent breach, retrieved his AR-15 semi-automatic rifle, and moved to confront the threat.

Following a brief verbal exchange in the hallway, Peters opened fire in self-defense, striking all three intruders before barricading himself in his bedroom to call 911.

All three suspects died from their injuries, while a 21-year-old getaway driver named Elizabeth Marie Rodriguez—who helped plan the burglary—later turned herself in to police.

Authorities fully cleared Peters of any wrongdoing, citing a textbook case of lawful self-defense under Oklahoma's Stand Your Ground and Castle Doctrine laws, proving once again that law-abiding citizens have the fundamental right to protect their homes and lives against violent invaders!

In an extraordinary display of courage, Philadelphia police officers rushed to save two critically wounded colleagues during Saturday morning’s deadly ambush in West Philadelphia.

The footage shows responding officers carrying their wounded colleagues into patrol vehicles and rushing them to emergency medical care.

As officers worked to save their fellow officers, another volley of gunfire erupted at the scene.

Tragically, Officer Shane Seiber, 40, a 10-year veteran of the Philadelphia Police Department and father of two, died from his injuries.

These officers did not hesitate when their colleagues needed them most. Their actions deserve recognition.
