Baloch Students Council, Islamabad announces with grave concerns that two of its former members, Asif S/O Mohammad, a resident of Khuzdar, and Salman, S/O Anwar, a resident of Panjgur, are the latest victims of enforced disappearances from Quetta.
Asif Baloch completed his BS from the Agriculture University, Peshawar, who also served as General secretary and later as chairman of BSC, Peshawar. Salman Baloch is also a graduate of Agriculture University from Economics Department.
Both of them were taken away from Iman City Sumangali road Road Quetta along with two other graduates from Khuzdar; Nabeel and Zubair Baloch.
The latest wave of targeted attacks on Baloch students is well calculated and deliberate to push the students away from education; it is an attempt to create an environment of fear among Baloch students. The parents of Baloch cut short their daily expenditure to educate their sons and daughters so they could be their support and that of society, but what awaits them after graduation is torture cells, continued intimidation, and constant pressure from state institutions daily.
In recent times, several Baloch students, members of BSC, disappeared from different parts of Balochistan and Punjab. Late last week, a female student was picked up from the capital, Islamabad; her whereabouts remain unknown as of now. These are well planned to push away from education.
Baloch Students Council Islamabad appeals to all human rights organisations, civil societies, lawyers, and every conscious individual to raise their voices and ask the state to uphold its fundamental duties to safeguard the very basic rights, the right to live with liberty and freedoms.
At last, Baloch Students Council, Islamabad appeals the Baloch Nation, with a rich history of Resistance and standing against injustice and oppression to stand united against the very injustices unfolding in front of us and be the voice of every victim who needs it.

Rubina Baloch, a member of the Baloch Students Council Islamabad and a fourth-semester BS Mass Communication student at the International Islamic University Islamabad, has been subjected to enforced disappearance in Islamabad on 2nd july.
Over the past week, there has been an alarming escalation in raids on the residences of Baloch students in Islamabad, accompanied by intimidation and harassment. These actions have created a climate of fear and insecurity among Baloch students and raise serious concerns regarding their safety and fundamental rights.
The Baloch Students Council Islamabad strongly condemns the reported enforced disappearance of its member, Rubina Baloch, and demands her immediate and safe recovery. We call upon human rights organizations, the legal fraternity, political parties, civil society, and student organizations to unequivocally condemn enforced disappearances and the targeting of students, and to take a clear stand in defense of human rights, the rule of law, and the protection of fundamental freedoms. Silence in the face of such actions only deepens impunity and further endangers those at risk.

The Baloch Literacy Campaign presents the poor condition of the Government Girls Middle School, Cheel, Greshag Khuzdar, Balochistan. This is a middle school which has only two teachers, who are teaching the students on contractual basis.
According to the students rest of the teachers along with the headmistress often remain absent from the school. The school possesses no adequate facilities including doors & windows, desks & mats for students. It also lacks water & washroom facilities for the female students.
Building of the school is ruined & is unsuitable to b used anymore.
