عبدالحق صرف ایک استاد اور تعلیم یافتہ فرد نہیں تھے، بلکہ وہ خود بھی اپنے جبری طور پر لاپتہ بھائی رمضان بلوچ کی واپسی کے انتظار اور اذیت میں زندگی گزار رہے تھے
اپنے بھائی کی جبری گمشدگی کے بعد انہوں نے اپنے بکھرے ہوئے خاندان کو سنبھالنے کی ذمہ داری اٹھائی، اور اپنے گھر والوں کے لیے سہارا بنے رہے، مگر آج وہی عبدالحق بلوچ جو سولہ برس سے اپنے بھائی کی راہ تک رہے تھے، خود جبری گمشدگی کا شکار ہونے کے بعد مسخ شدہ لاش کی صورت میں اپنے خاندان کو واپس لوٹائے گئے۔

The leadership of the Baloch National Movement (BNM) has always emerged from the ranks of the bravest sons and daughters of the Baloch nation.

Visionary leaders such as Shahmeer Ghulam Mohammad and Shahmeer Dr. Mannan Baloch never allowed fear to dictate their path. They dedicated—and ultimately sacrificed—their lives for the freedom of #Balochistan, leaving behind a legacy of courage, conviction, and unwavering resistance.

Today, following in their footsteps, BNM Chairman Dr. Naseem Baloch stands as a new symbol of sacrifice, revolutionary resilience, and fearless leadership.

For years, his family has been subjected to relentless persecution. Close relatives have been extrajudicially killed and forcibly disappeared. Even today, his father, uncle, and maternal uncle remain victims of enforced disappearance in the custody of the Pakistan Army.

His sister was reportedly coerced into holding a press conference under pressure, with a single demand imposed upon his family : tell Dr. Naseem Baloch to surrender and abandon the struggle.

But the courageous leader of the #Baloch nation refused to let these hardships, personal tragedies, emotional pain, or psychological torment weaken his resolve. Instead, they strengthened his commitment.

Under Dr. Naseem Baloch's leadership, BNM has become one of the most active force in the Baloch movement. Across the diaspora, the organization carries out political and advocacy activities on a daily basis, while inside Balochistan it continues to represent the aspirations, dignity, and national consciousness of the Baloch nation.

Thousands of people have joined BNM because true leadership inspires through sacrifice. When leaders dedicate their dreams, endure immense personal suffering, and give everything for their nation without complaint or surrender—never expressing fatigue despite overwhelming adversity—they give strength, hope, and determination to every activist , supporter, and member of the nation.

Dr. Naseem Baloch, Vorsitzender der Baloch National Movement (BNM), erklärte vor den Vereinten Nationen, dass die Krise in Belutschistan nicht nur eine Menschenrechtsfrage, sondern eine grundlegende „nationale Frage“ sei. Bei einer Veranstaltung am Rande der 62. Sitzung des UN-Menschenrechtsrats betonte er, dass Themen wie Zwangskonversionen über Religion hinausgehen und eng mit Macht, Kontrolle und Unterdrückung verbunden sind.

Er beschrieb, dass Frauen – insbesondere aus Minderheiten – häufig zum Ziel von Gewalt werden, wobei ihre Körper als Mittel politischer und sozialer Kontrolle genutzt würden. In Belutschistan seien Frauen zusätzlich mit Militarisierung, Zwangsverschleppungen, kollektiver Bestrafung und staatlicher Repression konfrontiert.

Ein zentrales Thema seiner Rede war das Verschwindenlassen von Personen. Baloch erklärte, dass Frauen oft die Hauptakteurinnen im öffentlichen Kampf um Gerechtigkeit seien, indem sie jahrelang nach ihren verschwundenen Angehörigen suchen. Gleichzeitig würden Familien gezielt unter Druck gesetzt. Er schilderte auch einen persönlichen Fall, in dem seine Schwester gezwungen worden sei, öffentlich gegen ihn aufzutreten, was er als Beispiel staatlichen Zwangs bezeichnete.

Baloch stellte eine Verbindung zwischen Zwangskonversionen, erzwungenen Aussagen und politischer Unterdrückung her und bezeichnete dies als Ausdruck eines Systems, das auf Macht statt Freiheit basiert. Zudem verurteilte er die lebenslange Haftstrafe gegen die Aktivistin Dr. Mahrang Baloch und andere politische Gefangene und bezeichnete dies als Versuch, kritische Stimmen zum Schweigen zu bringen.

Er hob hervor, dass Belutschistan historisch für religiöse Toleranz bekannt gewesen sei, während Religion in Pakistan zunehmend als politisches Instrument eingesetzt werde, was Diskriminierung und Gewalt gegen Minderheiten fördere. Beispiele wie Angriffe auf religiöse Gemeinschaften in Sindh und Punjab unterstrichen laut ihm eine Kultur der Straflosigkeit.

Abschließend forderte Baloch die internationale Gemeinschaft auf, diese miteinander verbundenen Menschenrechtsverletzungen ernst zu nehmen. Er verlangte ein Ende von Zwangskonversionen, Zwangsehen, Zwangsverschleppungen und militärischer Repression, die Freilassung politischer Gefangener sowie Schutz für Frauen und Minderheiten. Zudem betonte er, dass belutschische Frauen nicht nur als Opfer, sondern als zentrale Führungspersönlichkeiten im Widerstand anerkannt werden sollten.

Er schloss mit der Vision eines freien und gerechten Belutschistans, in dem Menschen unabhängig von Religion, Geschlecht oder Herkunft gleich behandelt werden und Angst nicht als Mittel der Herrschaft dient.

Only two weeks ago, my own sister was forced to appear in a press conference against me. She was made to speak under pressure, in front of cameras, not because she believed those words, but because the state wanted to use her as a weapon against me.

This is one of the cruelest forms of oppression. It does not only target the activist. It targets the mother, the sister, the wife, the daughter, and the whole family. It tries to turn love into fear. It tries to turn family bonds into political tools. "

Syed Bibi was forcibly disappeared by CTD from Turbat two days ago and released after 24 hours. Last night, she was threatened again, forcing her to leave her home with her children and spend the night in a cemetery to avoid harassment.

Earlier today, she held a press conference and appealed to international human rights organisations for her safety.

Now she has been arrested again.

Her only “crime” is being a conscious Baloch woman, standing with her nation and raising her voice for the Baloch people.

This is how low the Pakistani state has fallen. It has lost its connection and narrative among the Baloch people, and now uses fear and force as its last tool to maintain its occupation over Balochistan.

But history is clear: the force of oppressors always works against them.

Sixteen years ago, on 1 July 2010, Shams Baloch was forcibly disappeared by the army and FC from Mian Ghundi Check Post, Quetta.

Sixteen years have passed, yet his family still waits for his return, for truth, and for justice.

This is not only the pain of one family. It is the collective wound of the Baloch nation, where thousands of families continue to live between hope and grief.

We appeal to the international community to stop looking away. The EU must visit Balochistan, meet the families of the disappeared, and urgently review Pakistan’s GSP+ status in light of these grave human rights violations.

If Pakistan has nothing to hide, it should allow UN Special Rapporteurs and Working Groups to visit Balochistan freely, meet victims without fear, and uncover the truth on the ground.

Die Demonstrierenden zeigten Solidarität mit den Opfern staatlicher Gewalt und forderten Gerechtigkeit für alle Betroffenen. Sie äußerten tiefe Besorgnis über die sogenannten „gesichtslosen Prozesse“ gegen führende Mitglieder des Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC), die sie als klaren Verstoß gegen grundlegende Menschenrechte und rechtsstaatliche Prinzipien bezeichneten. #EndEnforcedDisappearances
Die Teilnehmer betonten, dass verfassungsmäßige und rechtliche Rechte in Belutschistan faktisch außer Kraft gesetzt seien und dass das pakistanische Militär dort weitgehend straflos agiere. Besonders hervorgehoben wurde der Fall der BYC-Anführerin Dr. Mahrang Baloch sowie ihrer Mitstreiter, die durch intransparente und geheime Gerichtsverfahren verfolgt würden. In diesen Verfahren bleiben die Identitäten von Gerichtspersonal, Zeugen und teilweise sogar der Richter verborgen.
Zudem verurteilten die Protestierenden die anhaltenden Angriffe auf die Häuser belutschischer Aktivist:innen und politischer Führungspersonen. Wohnhäuser würden geplündert und zerstört, während Familien unter massivem Druck stünden. Angehörige von Opfern des Verschwindenlassens würden häufig gezwungen, öffentlich ihre vermissten Familienmitglieder zu verleugnen. #HumanRights
Während der Demonstration forderten die Teilnehmer die internationale Gemeinschaft auf, eine unabhängige Untersuchungskommission einzusetzen – bestehend aus Menschenrechtsorganisationen, Journalist:innen und Forschenden –, um die Menschenrechtslage in Belutschistan umfassend zu untersuchen.
Zudem richteten sie einen Appell an die Europäische Union und andere internationale Akteure, diese schwerwiegenden Menschenrechtsfragen stärker in ihren diplomatischen und wirtschaftlichen Beziehungen mit Pakistan zu berücksichtigen. Since his detention, his family has received no information regarding his whereabouts or condition, leaving them in deep distress.

On June 29, Umer Jan Baloch was subjected to enforced disappearance from Chitkan Bazaar, Panjgur. Witnesses report he was forcibly taken from his shop by personnel associated with Pakistani security forces.

Since the incident, there has been no official information regarding his whereabouts or legal status, causing extreme distress to his family, who are extremely concerned for his safety.

Another brave Baloch woman, Sayad Bibi, has been forcibly abducted and disappeared by Pakistani forces, adding yet another name to the ever-growing list of victims of enforced disappearance in Balochistan.

Silence in the face of these disappearances only emboldens the perpetrators. The international community, the United Nations, and human rights organizations must urgently take notice and press Pakistan to end the practice of enforced disappearances.

Paank strongly condemns the reported enforced disappearance of Azizullah, son of Rashid, a 20-year-old driver, who was taken during a raid at around 4:00 a.m. on 29 June 2026 from Haji Sabzal Bazaar, Paroom, Panjgur, Balochistan. According to reports, security forces, accompanied by an state-backed armed group, forcibly removed him to an undisclosed location, and his whereabouts remain unknown.

Paank calls on the authorities to immediately reveal Azizullah's whereabouts, ensure his safety, release him if he is being held unlawfully or present him before a competent court, and conduct an independent investigation to hold those responsible accountable. Enforced disappearance is a serious violation of international human rights law and must end.

چور لٹیرے حاکم اور غنڈے بدمعاش صرف گھر میں موجود زیورات اور موبائل لیپ ٹاپ ہی چوری کرسکتے ہیں، جس گھر میں ہم دن رات اپنے گمشدہ باپ کی اذیت میں ماتم کرتے ہیں اس گھر سے تصویروں اور پوسٹر کے علاوہ انہیں اور ملتا ہی کیا؟ میرے گھر سے کوئی اسلحہ اور بم تو ملا ہی نہیں تو بے چاروں نے تصویریں اور کتابیں ہی چوری کر لیں۔

سترہ سال سے میرے گمشدہ باپ کو لوٹانے کی انکی اوقات اور جرات نہیں ہے اب یہ ہم سے صرف تصویروں کی شکل میں یادیں ہی چھین سکتے ہیں۔

Yesterday, the families of Dr. Mahrang Baloch and Sibghatullah Baloch were denied the right to hold a press conference at the Quetta Press Club. They instead addressed the media from the missing persons camp, where today’s protest was announced against the atrocious life sentences meted out to BYC leaders.

As soon as the press conference ended, PTM Central Committee leader Zubair Shah Agha was arrested alongside those who offered us water. Last night, Zubair Agha was removed from police custody and now his whereabouts are unknown.

Today, before the protesters could gather, the state had sealed roads, flooded Quetta with police mobiles and prisoner vans, then unleashed violence on unarmed women. Protesters were beaten, baton-charged and dragged into police vehicles, many of them women. Eight of our colleagues remain in custody tonight.

What does it say about a state that cannot protect either residents or visitors in Balochistan from the daily scourge of targeted killings by ‘unidentified assailants’ but can mobilise its entire military machinery to crush citizens it keeps referring to as terrorists? The state is choosing to actively pursue a policy of alienation by criminalising peaceful political resistance.

This crackdown will not legitimise unjust convictions, nor will it silence our movement. We demand the immediate overturning of Dr. Mahrang and Sibghatullah Baloch’s life sentences, the immediate release of all those detained today, and an end to state terror.
