Updated hShadertoy after a six-month hiatus.
Direct importing from #shadertoy is now working. Updated IDE - look and feel is closer to the original. Transpiler got massive update. Compile rate is close to 90%
No updates to HDA. leaving it for last since it's probably the fun part
Fixed buffer shaders related issues in HDA. Couple of diffusion shaders that do get transpiled have the correct scale now. No updates to the Transpiler despite a mounting backlog of bugs:(

#shadertoy#Houdini
The transpiler has been the trickiest part (tree-sitter parser + AST xformer). OCL doesnt have native matrix types. Derivatives like dFdx are fundamental GPU features that OCL simply doesnt support. Global uniforms (iTime, iChannel, etc.) used outside mainImage wont work either
experimental shadertoy importer for H21 Copernicus: Shadertoy API > IDE > GLSL to OpenCL transpiler > HDA. So far it supports buffer & cubemap shaders, common code block, cubemaps, videos, and volumes. Even some early tests with mouse, keyboard, webcam and sound inputs
@etheory_music Electron travels 1/2 speed in conducting metals. https://t.co/FURe9kYGnE. Btw, once starlink will use lasers for communication it will be faster than fibre optics under the oceans. Bunkers indeed
@PeterCawdron I've just finished 3zekiel and really enjoyed it!. I'm about to continue with the series. Since you love hard scifi/first contact stories then I highly recommend this rare find: "The Peacemaker's Code" by @Prof_Malhotra

It's been a busy 12 months so I only recently got a chance to indulge in some R&D to improve my skills at small scale fluid sims. This is what came out of it. Done with @sidefx#Houdini and rendered with @redshift3d
