ग्रेट निकोबार केवल एक टापू नहीं है, यह हजारों वर्षों से आदिवासियों का घर, अनगिनत जीव-जंतुओं की शरणस्थली और प्रकृति का अनमोल खजाना है। यहाँ की हर हरियाली, हर लहर, हर पक्षी की चहचहाहट जीवन का गीत गाती है। लेकिन अब लालच की अंधी दौड़ में इसे उजाड़ने की तैयारी हो रही है। जंगल काटे जा रहे हैं, समुद्र तट बर्बाद हो रहे हैं, आदिवासी समुदायों का जीवन संकट में है। निकोबार मेगापोड, हॉर्नबिल जैसे दुर्लभ जीवों का अस्तित्व दांव पर है। हमें मिलकर इस प्रकृति के मंदिर को बचाना होगा, ताकि आने वाली पीढ़ियाँ भी इसकी खूबसूरती और जीवंतता को देख सकें। ग्रेट निकोबार की पुकार को अनसुना मत कीजिए, यह केवल प्रकृति की नहीं, इंसानियत की भी लड़ाई है।

Byproducts: trichlorosilane gas, silicon tetrachloride, toxic particulates from wafer sawing
Greenhouse gases: Sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) – 25,000 times more potent than CO2, Nitrogen trifluoride (NF3) – 17,000 times more potent than CO2, Hexafluoroethane (C2F6) – 12,000 times more potent than CO2. The National Renewable Energy Laboratory warns that by their lifetime's end, 80 million tons of solar panel waste could fill global landfills. The U.S. lacks dedicated solar panel recyclers due to high costs and environmental concerns. Recycling costs average $28 per module, repair $65, and landfill disposal $1.38. From 2020 to 2050, about 80% of modules are landfilled, 1% reused, and 10% recycled. With current material recovery rates, recycled mass totals 0.7 million metric tons by 2050, roughly 8%. As you can see there is nothing Clean and Green about solar panels.
