Nusli Wadia was a gentleman.

An employee at the group offices in Ballard Estate found him to be polite and gracious during (very very very rare) personal interactions. I think the only privilege he reserved for himself vis-a-vis employees was a fixed parking space in front of Neville House. If you arrived by car early enough, you could park anywhere close to the door except his parking spot. To be fair, Bombay House and a few other buildings also had the similar arrangements. If you did park in a reserved space a havlu or doorman informed you about it, requested you to choose another spot.

30 years later there are personal anecdotes about him are still being quoted to friends detailing his humbleness.

The Oriflamma banner was a Christian Holy banner of French kings. The golden halo behind the Madonnacs head is typical of Orthodox iconography depicting Christian holy figures.
