Being shy as a man is a waste of time and life. Every conversation you did not start, every room you stood quietly in, every girl you watched walk away, every opportunity that went to the guy who took action — that is the real cost of shyness and it compounds over years. Confidence is not a personality trait you are born with. It is a muscle you build by repeatedly doing the uncomfortable thing until it stops being uncomfortable.
Think highly of yourself. Be unapologetic about your actions. Walk like you own the place. Move like a winner. Get things because you want them. Reality bends toward people who live as if they already have what they want. Stop waiting for permission to act like the person you are becoming.
Going to leave you with this tonight:
The best thing you can do for yourself is actively increase your surface area for luck to hit you. Go outside, travel more, go to new cates, museums, events, take a new route home, go for hikes, see cities, countrysides, take your notebook, speak to people, ask questions, start businesses - go on more side quests. You can literally just do things, and the more you do, the more serendipity and synchronicity will find you.
Walk through life with a slight smirk and an unshakeable calm. Nothing is that serious. People will constantly try to pull reactions out of you — to rattle you, provoke you, get under your skin. The moment you react you hand them the wheel. The moment you just smile and stay unbothered you keep it. Stop getting riled up over things that will not matter in a week. Lay back. Enjoy the movie. The most powerful person in any room is always the calmest one in it.
BE DELUSIONALLY OPTIMISTIC
Wake up excited. Believe that everything will work out for you. Pursue your dreams as if they are inevitable. Come back stronger. More confident. More capable. Inspire others. Affirmations. Manifest what you want. Feel as if you already have it. Imagination is your power.
The sun rises even after the darkest nights. Be like the sun.
Stand up no matter what.
Never lose hope. It will all work out.
Your brain has a tiny RAM. When you keep 7 half decisions in your head, your prefrontal cortex keeps refreshing them and you feel “busy” while doing nothing. Do a 2 minute capture dump on paper, then pick 1 next physical action. Your mind gets quiet fast.
BE DELUSIONAL UNTIL IT’S REAL
Make others think you’re crazy. Become obsessed with your potential. Prove them wrong. Succeed because you have no choice. Show others how limited they think you are. Train like a madman. Sleepless nights. Master new skills. Burn bridges to your old life.
When you’re optimistic about your future, every day is a step where everything can change immediately.
They might think you just got lucky, but they didn’t see the work behind the scenes while they were doing nothing.
You’re almost there. Just one more day.
FAKE IT TILL YOU MAKE IT
Become arrogant. Make others gossip about you. Break social rules. Be unapologetic about your actions. Act from your highest will. Remain hopeful no matter what. Walk like you own the place. Move like a winner. Rest because you deserve it. Get things because you want them.
Reality responds to those who live as if they already have the things they’ve always wanted.
Hard work is a lie.
Let reality bend to your will.
Just live day by day. It's like driving at night. You only need to see as far as your headlights reach. You don't have to spot your final destination from the start. Keep going with what's lit in front of you, and the rest will come as you move. You're seriously underestimating the universe's ability to surprise you and turn things in your favor. But that only happens if you stop overwhelming yourself by trying to figure out your entire life all at once.

This 1 hour Stanford lecture by Joel Peterson will teach you more about negotiation and getting what you want than most people learn in years.
Bookmark it and give it an hour, no matter what.
I'm a firm believer that everything always works out as long as you stay in motion. You don't even have to know what you're doing. You often won't. Just avoid spending the majority of your time in your head
Go out and talk to people. Tinker with shiny objects that stoke your curiosity. Follow excitement without judgement. Collect a story to tell. Don't label and categorize activities or wonder if you're being productive or not. Simply do things because you can and be engaged with whatever you're doing
If you can end each day having gained a bit more interestingness, absorbed a bit more inspiration, or experienced a bit more life, all is well. Embodying this feeling is all that's required for you to rest easy knowing you got ahead, because forward progress is measured by the energy you radiate rather than the outcomes you see
Now it's merely a simple matter of continuing to get ahead. Light on your feet, surrendering to the flow of reality. The path will appear in front of you. Lucky breaks, unpredictable blessings, lightbulb moments abound. Not a matter of if, but when. Trust yourself. Enjoy the journey. God will never lead you astray
