To date, Orbyts has empowered 1500+ students through 100+ research partnerships. We’ve increased inclusivity in post-16 STEM uptake by engaging 50+% girls, 50+% PP students, and students from 48+ ethnicities. We've expanded in London and opened Hubs in NE England & Leicester.

A huge thanks to Shannon and Morgan from Northumbria University who came into yr 4 to teach us about satellites for our space themed STEM week. Morgan explained that she’s an ex-pupil and told us all about her interesting job! The yr 4s were amazed that it could be them one day!

Shannon Killey @shan_astro@SolarSpaceNU has a radiation belt poster. Electron behaviour is difficult to diagnose due to simultaneous processes that drive them. They show where & when processes dominate pitch angle evolution during storms.

🤩In their recent Orbyts project, students from Cramlington Learning Village, with Orbyts fellows Kendra Gilmore and @NotTheDoodler, used machine learning techniques to study the importance of different solar wind characteristics for the prediction of geomagnetic storms 🌍
