I remember nanaman na when I consider mag shift ng International Relations kaso di natuloy kasi nasa KFCIAAS eh and that time very Sharon Cuneta talaga ako hahahaha😭😭
am today. Oh, I will. Every time I look at it, I'll remember that dreams are built not only by ambition but also by the people who believe in us even when we don't always believe in ourselves⚖️🩷
This is probably one of the most meaningful gifts I've ever received. A Lady Justice (Justitia). Shien told me it reminded her of my love for leadership, women's empowerment, and my dream of becoming a lawyer. I was honestly left speechless bcs I never imagined someone would put
so much thought into a gift. I mean it wasn't just abt giving me a gift; it was abt giving me something that reflected how she sees me. That, to me, is priceless.
She hopes I'll keep it on my desk as a reminder of her and of the values and experiences that shaped me into who I
there's a beautiful sunnah of making things easy for people. whether it's forgiving a mistake, explaining something patiently, or helping someone without making them feel embarrassed, kindness has always been part of the prophetic way.
She’s probably not doing well. Idc how old your are, if you have a great relationship with your mom or dad, it’s rare that you’re ever fully prepared for their passing
A Texas woman got an abortion. So Texas police used 83,000 Flock cameras to track her down. 83 THOUSAND!! They aren't using these cameras to track down rapists, pedophiles, or traffickers. They're not using them to find your missing children. They're using them to throw women in jail for making choices about their own bodies, with OUR tax dollars.
You guys don’t understand how insane fantasy is 😭
Someone really sat down and created an entire world from their imagination. Whole continents. Histories. Languages. Magic.
I love fantasy so much.
🚨BREAKING -- 🇨🇳Chinese scholars have "concluded" that the 🇵🇭#Philippines' northernmost Batanes Islands legally belong to #China, by way of 🇹🇼#Taiwan.
At a June 30th symposium in Guangzhou hosted by Jinan University, roughly a dozen researchers from prominent Chinese universities and institutes declared that Manila's control over Batanes lacks historical and legal basis, and in fact the islands belong to China.
"Participants unanimously concluded that the Batan Islands constitute a natural geographical extension of Taiwan, with sovereignty belonging to China, and that so-called Japan-Philippines maritime delimitation negotiations in the area hold no legal validity. The symposium was convened in direct response to the joint statement issued at the recent Japan-Philippines summit." [Link in the comments below]
In other words, Beijing -- via its academics and aided by state media -- clearly orchestrated this symposium to propose a new territorial baseline, a "lawfare" tactic to back up the patrols it launched far to the east of Taiwan last month.
So far PRC government officials have not endorsed the symposium's conclusions, but that's not unusual in PRC gray-zone narrative warfare. For now, muddying the waters over Batanes' legal ownership is sufficient to help justify its "sovereignty" patrols.
