@ericjenvey We’ve just won too many games in those years for me to be all that concerned. It’s been as hard a 5 year stretch to be consistent winners with all that changed in college hoops during that time, and we largely still were, just with some bad breaks in March.

Yes I am referring to UVA’s irrational fanbase who seem to be hellbent on criticizing the greatest thing to ever happen to our athletic program for reasons I cannot understand.

The more March Madnesses I watch the more surprised I am that people use it so heavily to gauge the health/success of a program or coach. Bad teams play good and good teams play bad. Single elimination is wild. There’s nothing like it.

@ericjenvey I agree the ways we lose have been comical, but I think I give them less weight because of it. Ohio kinda flukey with the Covid deal, Kihei’s pass, 25% shooting night. Also have to consider the tourney cancellation when he had that team hot towards the end of the year.
