Word of the Day is a reminder of the beautiful Old English ‘uhtceare’ [ucht-kay-ara]: ‘dawn sorrow’, for those moments when you lie awake in the darkness and worry.
All movies and videos on entertainment systems on airplanes should have subtitles. How else can I interpret what they're talking over the sound of the jet engines and turbulence and that annoying 2 year old that won't stop crying at all???
Respectfully, I don't go above & beyond for people no more. I meet you as far as you meet me. I speak to you as much as you speak to me. I include you as much as you include me.
I'm done being extra.
For now, I have a request for all the students who might be reading this. If you're a student, it's crucial to look out for one another, reach out for help if you're struggling, or assist fellow students who might be in a similar situation.
Some months have passed since Dimi walked away, for maybe one last time. Our beloved pooch was an old man.
Blind in one eye, and yet, he saw everything there was to see. Nights at the BFS, that debut League title, every day in training and every single photoshoot - Dimi saw it all.
In some ways, he was our biggest fan.
We haven’t come to terms with it, and probably never will. But today, we’re saying goodbye.
We love you and we’ll miss you, Dimi. Thank you for being the best dog there ever was, and thank you for choosing us.
