About one year ago I quit coffee for 6 weeks to see what would happen.
Although I had a slight boost in my sleep I came to the conclusion that life is better with coffee than without.

Another pathetic service by @IndiGo6E When I had a similar bad experience I thought I was an exception, never bothered to complaint in social
Media and find out the truth. Now I have found 1000s of similar and even worse experiences.
I can’t think of a shittier airline than @IndiGo6E - the virtual monopoly they enjoy currently has gone to their head. And how!
My son flew last night from Kolkata to New Delhi to connect to the Delhi-Istanbul flight.
The CCU-DEL flight scheduled to depart at 9 pm left at 10.45
I heard that the way you go viral on this site is by making a big list of things you have to do. Let me try.
-You should mostly eat food you know is healthy, there is no magic food.
-You should also occasionally let yourself eat delicious food you know isn’t healthy. Otherwise what’s the point?
-You should be training with some kind of resistance (your bodyweight works), no matter your age
-You should do something to get your heart going and get a schvitz a few times a week
-You should know there isn’t a magic pill, a hack, or a diet and most of that crap people put in their lists is just mean to confuse you so you pay them to figure it out for you with whatever they are selling
-You should also know my daily newsletter is free, is allergic to bullshit, and includes weekly workouts, the latest health and fitness news, and motivation from me.
-Don’t worry, if you paid one of those people to tell you jumping in cold water or taking 29 pills every morning will get you fit, I’ll still be here in three months when you decide it’s time to try something that works. The only trick I know is that you have to work, it hasn’t changed in 76 years and it won’t change.

6 observations from our annual India trip - 3 good, 3 not so good! We visit each year, usually at the same time. But India surprised us this time like never before, with changes nothing short of dramatic.
THE GOOD!
Startups galore - Pleasantly surprised that one can get virtually anything online, in literally a few minutes. The pace, variety and cost dynamics are better than most other countries. This is not limited to eCommerce. I got a dental implant done from a startup. Got my glasses made from one. Bought world class coffee beans from another one, advised a school principle on how to turn their students into startup heroes, addressed employees of a farmers marketplace startup! I would have loved to see more deep tech startups. But i think that will happen in due course. India is clearly a startup land.
A nation under construction - Everywhere we went, we saw roads, highways, flyovers getting constructed with an intensity rarely seen elsewhere. Drawing room conversations were dotted with proud mentions of 6 lane expressways. This is creating obvious short term inconvenience, but will lead to a better future. It's an infrastructure frenzy.
Digital payments - We continued to be happily surprised with the pervasiveness of digital payments. Clearly far ahead of most western nations.
THE NOT SO GOOD!
Value of time - Delayed flights. A doctor disappeared at a pre-appointed time. A tailor ghosted us. Most meetings/catch-ups ran late. I wish people display a higher sense of commitment and greater respect for time.
The air we breathe - As an avid outdoor runner, I was disappointed I couldn't manage even a single run in Delhi. Each time I tried, I felt my lungs will catch fire. A worrying proportion of people were sniffing, feeling under the weather. Indian cities need healthier air.
Content Conundrum - India is witnessing a content explosion. Which is great. What's not so great is the proportion of dubious content peddled by so called 'influencers', shrill discourses, and pervasiveness of misogynistic and regressive themes. Most people I met, said they don't watch such content and were equally put off. But clearly it's popular, else it wouldn't be created.
Of course, India is a foodie's paradise. Combine that with Indian warmth and hospitality, we go back with beautiful memories and a few kilos heavier!
Till the next trip!!!
