🚨 New framework paper on urban mosquito-borne disease out in @NatureEcoEvo this week!
We build a #socioecological#urbansystems approach to understanding Aedes-borne disease risk, integrating theories from complex systems science, landscape ecology, and (human) urban geography
Environmental problems tend to be fueled by a mix of social, economic, and political factors. Untangling this complex web of causes and consequences is what social scientists do best! Together, natural and social science provides a more holistic view of a landscape or seascape.
