Thrilled that we are investing in Qualified Health's $125M Series B - congrats to the team now supporting 400,000 users representing ~5% of U.S. hospital revenue.
Healthcare AI adoption has grown 7x in the past two years, one of the fastest acceleration rates of any industry. However the gap between interest and execution is massive. Health systems want to go enterprise-wide with AI, but they're dealing with fragmented data, legacy EHR infrastructure, heavy regulatory requirements, and no room for error when patient safety is on the line.
That's why Qualified Health is not building another point solution, they're building the platform layer with data integration, governance, monitoring, and evaluation that lets health systems deploy AI safely across clinical and operational workflows at real scale.
Healthcare is at an inflection point with AI. The winners won't be the health systems that adopt the most AI tools, they'll be the ones that build the infrastructure to adopt AI well. That's exactly what @JustinNordenMD, @shantanubuilds, @BeauNorgeot, @KedarMate and team are enabling. I'm excited to be supporting their vision at @MenloVentures .
@jfschneidr The bigger WASTE is a) high risk, high need patients donโt get labs done regularly and end up in ED/ IP b) no easy way to access labs in evenings and weekend, and patients end up getting charged for a visit c) turnaround times for labs are so high leading to waste.
@DrNundy Care needs to go to such patients instead of patients chasing care. In most cases, it would take them 1 visit to doctor, 1 visit to lab, 1 visit to pharmacy - a minimum of 3 trips to get care let alone time, scheduling, energy, money.
