Oracle India layoffs begin with product engineering bearing the brunt

Oracle has begun a fresh round of layoffs in India, with employees across teams receiving termination notices, as the technology major moves ahead with the cost-cutting exercise, sources said.

The layoffs began in the US on September 14 and have continued in India, with the impact appearing to be concentrated in product engineering, they added. Support and consulting teams have seen relatively fewer cuts, while some senior employees Oracle Financial Services Software (OFSS) employees have also been affected globally.

Dear @BVG_Bus the punctuality of bus 170 is terrible. It’s been 30 mins at Insulaner stop and there is not a single bus coming towards Priesterweg. This has been the case everyday where the bus is never on time. Please fix it. It causes a lot of trouble for me and kids.
