The Republican gaslighting on ‘violent rhetoric’ is ludicrous.
Yes, Democrats call Donald Trump a threat to democracy. He still denies the 2020 election and a lot of his party has gone along with it.
There’s a reason Republicans hide from reporters - they can’t answer for Trump dancing on the graves of his political enemies or calling Democrats ‘the enemy within’, ‘traitors’, or the ‘party of hate, evil, and Satan.’
And for those that actually care about reality, the majority of political violence comes from the right. It’s clear as day.
Melissa Hortman was killed by a Trump supporter.
The first person to allegedly take a shot at Trump was a registered Republican.
Every study shows more political violence from the right than the left.
But sure, other than that, great tweet, totally factual and not cynical BS.
Trump: I’m gonna blow your whole fucking country up and wipe out your entire civilization.
Media: where in the world is all of this violent rhetoric coming from and why are people becoming so radicalized?
Republicans have been making this argument my entire life. We had 8 years of Clinton, 8 years of Obama, 4 years of Biden— never became a socialism. But you know what we got? More jobs, lower unemployment, higher GDP in Democratic administrations than every GOP administration in the last 3 decades. Without fail.
Trump has called me an "election stealing lawyer," a "radical" and a "bad person." He has posted that I am "scared" and "should be." His FBI director said I am "the enemy of the Republican Party."
I won't stop speaking out against the threat Trump poses to democracy. Period.
If you were horrified last night watching our elected leaders run and scramble because of gun violence, just imagine how my daughter Jaime felt in school running from an active shooter before she was killed.
Now, becomes a part of the solution and only vote for people determined to address gun violence in America.
How INSANE is this:
trump wants to give money -- OUR MONEY -- to the millionaires and billionaires in United Arab Emirates.
First $40 billion to Argentina, now this.
That's not America first, is it?
Man fighting stage-4 cancer. Age 82. Lifelong stutter. Gives coherent answer on democracy. Every hesitation: “proof of dementia”
Trump can’t name his Defense Secretary. Forgets what country he’s in.
“Just Trump being Trump”
Pick a standard. Any standard.
Even when this dark chapter finally ends, I will never forget the immorality, the criminality, and the pure cruelty we’ve seen in service to one of the worst humans to ever walk the earth.
Democrats: "If you redo the TX maps we're going to redo other states."
Republicans: "Suck it libtards. Cope."
Democrats: "Ok, so we're doing CA and VA."
Republicans: "Wait.. no. What? This is the end of America. Stop. You guys are mean."
