@KarenDekker @TweetDeck @pearson Karen I'm unfamiliar with https://t.co/y4abGyhYN4 looks like you have a really great system and a great level of comfort with using technology. I'm new to using technology so this Venn diagram is something I put in my tool kit. Thank you so much!#wuedt6020
@HaroldlScottiii @TweetDeck Harold it is so important to make sure we are trained on any and all technology that is available to use in our https://t.co/HtSnfUw5k6 many people don't use technology because they are unsure how.Once equipped with knowledge of use, teachers and technology can go far!#wuedt6020
@meborger @TweetDeck Mary I feel the same way! There is so much tech out there and most days I have no idea what half of it is. Using technology and creating lessons is very tedious and time consuming, but once created it is almost timeless and can be used for years to come. #wuedt6020
@LaurenGams30 @TweetDeck Lauren I like that you said if used appropriately. That is so important to use technology in the proper way. Misuse can make instruction so much harder for all parties involved.Learning should be fun and incorporating technology helps to ensure and make that possible!
@Hickman_wilmU @TweetDeck Erica I agree that technology can make instruction easier for students and teachers, especially for those that may be https://t.co/EkBkHaCSOU a teacher you can just upload and scan assignments for students to access if they have the capability. #wuedt6020
@ccottee001 Chris I am also fairly new to teaching, but definitely new to using https://t.co/G8TkHW3UQN district does not have a lot of tech available so my students love to use the laptops and also they like the games I pull up on the smartboard to use with lessons. #wuedt6020
@meborger I teach 5th grade special education. Since my classroom is considered a B setting, I do not have students for a full day. I get my students for 3 hours a day. Out of those 3 hours I'd say I probably have hands-on-tech activities 40-45 minutes.
@DavidCrissman3 This sounds so cool. I chose Skype as something I would like to try and use. David how did you contact the people you interviewed? Do you just search for specific names and find them? I am new to all of this so please excuse me if that's a dumb question :)
Social Media..Hmm.I would love to try and use Skype in my classroom. I think that would be very neat to have students conduct an interview with an author or even with another student from around the world. Video chat is fascinating and my students would surely love it. #wuedt6020
Since I am very unfamiliar with VR, this is something that I would like to learn more about and implement into my classroom. I am getting this degree so I can get in the loop with technology. I think VR is a wave of the future for education! #wuedt6020
