45 days to go for the Budget.
As a taxpayer, I honestly have just one major concern right now, STT, LTCG, and STCG.

If there’s one topic that truly deserves to trend over the next 45 days, it’s taxation on market participants. That’s enough time to make STT, LTCG, and STCG a mainstream taxpayer issue, not a niche discussion.

These taxes directly impact long-term wealth creation, risk-taking, and market participation. If taxpayers don’t keep this conversation alive now, it will quietly be ignored again in the Budget.

45 days are more than enough, if we actually use them.

I strongly feel that the Government should only take:

- Income Tax
- GST
- Only STT (for equities)
- Only Stamp Duty & Regn (for Real Estate)

Let people enjoy their Short or Long Term Capital Gain or Loss FULLY. Dividends should not be taxed.

Take tax on every Transaction but not on the effort put to make a Profit or Loss 👍 Double Taxation is anyway not ok.
