@PaoloTiramani@DesireeAmerica4 If they'd have reversed the pitch to "charging less during slow times" they'd have won that argument. As long as market pricing is perceived to be a benefit to your customers they'll support you.
@JADPhD@HP Ditto. Had their instant ink for several years. Needed it when we had a house full of print users. Then, as our needs reduced, I canceled the service and attempted to buy HP brand ink from my local tech shop. The printer recognized the HP in about 10% of the time. Scam.
@dronamraju@mcuban I'm with Mark on this one. As for socialism, that looks like government owned/run healthcare. The companies he's referring to are actually forcing socialist healthcare on their employees at tax payer expense whilst reaping the benefits and security of capitalism. Not cool.
@lumpywaffletush@elonmusk I disagree. Let the DOGE do its thing and then go away. Don't give it the opportunity to turn into the very thing it's tasked with getting rid of. Creating formal, eternal bureaucratic offices/departments that are hard to dismantle is why govt got so wasteful.
@justcuuper Interestingly, this document clearly states there is no defined policy. I'd think anyone with the "expert" badge would dig just a little deeper before attempting to make their point. Do better "experts".
