Zcash 101: First Workshop at Crypto World’s Fair

We’re kicking off the @Zcash @ @colosseum workshop series with Zcash 101, our first session for builders exploring the Zcash ecosystem.

In this session, @zksquirrel from @ZecHub will walk us through:

→ Zcash 101
→ Zcash vs Bitcoin
→ Value pools & address types
→ Zcash Nodes
The goal is to give builders a clear foundation before diving deeper into Zcash architecture, developer tooling, wallets, and payments in the following sessions.

today, let's look at another one.

what if accepting ZEC at a shop could be as simple as using a payment app?

that's the idea behind ZGo.

@ZGoCashApp is a Zcash payments app that helps businesses accept shielded ZEC.

it handles things like currency conversion, blockchain scanning, invoices and receipts, so the business doesn't have to build all of that from scratch.

you can use it for retail payments or send an invoice through a simple URL.

and just like we saw with CipherPay,

the funds go directly to the merchant's wallet.

no middleman holding the ZEC.

what i find interesting is how projects like this are turning the technology we've been learning about into something people can actually use.

we've talked about shielded transactions.

now we're seeing what happens when you put them into a payment experience.
