@channelstv This lady broadcaster just proved the NAFDAC boss's point unfortunately (Ignorance). Madam, please educate us how reading a drug leaflet informs us that it is fake!
@HabuSadeik Those countries with high number of utilities have a different model where they differentiate between Network Operators & suppliers. The high numbers you see are suppliers all riding on large Network Operators (DisCos). Just check India and see the sizes of DisCos there.
Parents are comparing clothes being sold for boys’ and girls’ of the same ages and asking why girls are often offered shorter, tighter and more revealing styles than their male counterparts.
Research suggests the concern isn’t entirely anecdotal: One study of 5,666 pieces of girls’ clothing found almost one in three contained characteristics researchers classified as “sexualising”.
So why are girls being introduced to adult-coded fashion so early?
Most of the dysfunction we see around us in Nigeria can be summarised under the singular issue of "Near Collapse of Governance" from FG down to Local Councils and everything in between. Public service has largely become a 'means' for its workers not a means to govern the country
@NaziruH45447@BashirAhmaad My brother, sponsoring a 50km irrigation scheme will bring 10 times more revenue to Sokoto than an airline even if that airline is Air Peace with its number of flights. Airline is a small margin business that thrives on efficiency and economies of scale. both are lacking here!
@DrJoeAbah Kudos for your contributions Doc. I am deeply concerned about spending six weeks in those camps. Currently, NYSC is a citizen sponsored youth orientation program. Parents & students finance thier way through the 1yr service. Trainings can still be provided without camp stay.
@onu_slim Do you see the kind of political elite and leaders in Nigeria required to make us a good deal? I certainly don't. They will make deals that benefit themselves at the expense of the long-term interest of Nigeria. There is currently no evidence they would do otherwise.
@abujastreets Traffic lights in ABJ have become practically useless for controlling safe traffic. You arrive at a junction and 70% to 90% of cars do not obey the lights, that is why the accidents are ghastly. I cross a green light in ABJ same way i cross a junction with no traffic lights.
@gimbakakanda The guy was interesting enough to appear on major podcasts, even Piers's. He tends to go all the way in his predictions & that certainly carries risks. Take his theory of men forming cults of power through extreme acts, not always true but power cults do exist in various forms.
Quite the start to the 2028 presidential election campaign.
Could this be the year that repeatedly proclaiming unconditional fealty to Israel becomes an electoral burden or even political suicide rather than a ticket to success and victory?
Ah toh! We all know the cashless policy is even doing more harm to innocent citizens than the perpetrators. They should go after perpetrators and leave us alone abeg.
@taiwoyedele I believe there is no where in the world that Businesses can be competitive with this kind of gate keeping masquerading as Taxes, levies and permits. This is a small sized supermarket in Gwarinpa, Abuja. This is is just crazy!! @OfficialFCTA
@MSIngawa Well, your cashless policy also nearly starved innocent citizens in remote areas all over the Country. The earlier we stop looking for short cuts to problems the better our chance at addressing these complex issues. There's no easy one off solution to decades of systemic rott!!
@bellosaleh Even at the peak of BH, we have not had a Northan Capital sacked and its elites enslaved or exiled. I do not pray for this, I just fear it may happen as we sleep walk towards the abyss..
@bellosaleh Looking at our political elite today, I feel nothing short of a catastrophic major Capital sacking event would wake them up enough to pay attention to the existential threat the North faces. Decades of gradual decline has only increased elite greed not realization of the threat!
