@kenklippenstein The ableist language is totally uncalled for. If you can’t make your point without using words like that, then you’re not the journalist you think you are
@OGBlackRedGuard USCIS released a memo literally 5 days ago saying that all Afghan refugees admitted between 2021 and February of this year are required to be re-interviewed and to have their refugee status reviewed. Then this happens today? Very convenient
War does not solve problems; on the contrary, it amplifies them and inflicts deep wounds on the history of peoples, which take generations to heal. No armed victory can compensate for the pain of mothers, the fear of children, or stolen futures. May diplomacy silence the weapons! May nations chart their futures with works of peace, not with violence and bloodstained conflicts!
This is likely to be one of my more controversial takes, but ultimately the smell produced by a homeless person taking shelter from the cold on public transport is *harmless*. It might be unpleasant, but it can be tolerated (or avoided) in the name of compassion.
The US has massacred over 200k Palestinians in a year because it refuses to allow them their basic human rights — it has no right to speak the language of justice ever again
What are the people meant to do when predatory megacorporations ruin lives by the thousands? Write them sternly worded letters? Vote the corporations out of office? I keep thinking of that quote "Those who make peaceful revolution impossible make violent revolution inevitable."
If I gave weapons to someone with multiple warrants knowing they were going to kill people, that would be called aiding and abetting and I would be charged as an accomplice.

Both political parties in America are dominated by billionaires and corporate money.
Real change in this country will come about when an organized working class leads the fight for justice.
We need working class candidates to help us do that. https://t.co/uw7WRxcxKD
A trans person didn’t deny your health insurance claim, a giant corporation did.
An asylum seeker didn’t raise your rent, a billionaire’s private equity firm did.
Our focus must be taking on the billionaires & corporate greed.
