@brian_scanlan Yeah I also have a bunch of skills I installed a few months ago that are irrelevant now, and probably making it ba have worse when they trigger
Examples in this post are very cool but I’m finding it increasingly hard to remember all the ‘secret’ ways to use Claude when there’s little affordance.
Subtle wording differences trigger different behaviour and are hard to discover.
Workflows are the biggest upgrade to Claude Code’s capabilities since skills and subagents.
I dove deep into it with @sidbid to figure out best practices, examples and more. I’m particularly excited about the non-technical tasks it enables for Claude Code.
@shreyas This advice applies to everything in life. No one is looking at you and judging you nearly as much as you think.
Free yourself from other people’s opinions about your decisions.
It’s much easier said than done, but the best way to be content in yourself.
@typesfast It’s up there with checking in for a flight. For some reason the person at the desk has to click at least twice as many buttons as I do checking in online 🤷🏻♀️
@ryancarson A lot of the OTT people management practices in tech will be gone. I saw Clay are using external coaches to support all employees which is interesting.
People in the thread conflating leadership with people mgmt. There will still be a need for strong leaders at multiple levels
@zazmic_inc@lennysan@danshipper Yeah agree. It likely will for tech companies, but most companies do not build software. What about architects, doctors, restaurants, retail etc.
They all have different centre of gravity software, that I don’t expect with start inside CC/Codex
@atmoio Tech is way too heavy on people management. Talk to people outside tech and the idea of a weekly/biweekly 1:1 with your manager sounds absurd. Most check in for annual perf and adhoc meetings through the year.
We need more focus on the work over people development
It’s honestly a toss of the coin which one of these has a password if it doesn’t autofill for me. So frustrating. Don’t understand why chrome and google are different 🤷🏻♀️
@clairevo What’s so hard to understand, you claim your interactive programmatic usage that gets you inclusion usage, but also api rates for overages or not, and the usage is shared, or not, but it doesn’t rollover. Anyways it’s included but don’t forget you have to claim it. Simples 🙃
