@oasis Anyone else start getting to the front of the queue only to have Ticketmaster suspend your account because they reckon you are a bot? Even if I could start again it would be pointless now that most tickets are already sold
@liamgfansclub@liamgallagher@NoelGallagher Nope, another victim of Ticketmaster deciding I was a bot and suspending my account after being in the queue for over 2 hours. What a farce they are.
@MoneySavingExp 22 degrees during the off-peak period and 5 degrees for the rest of the day - I have a heat pump running my underfloor heating, and operate it just now as a kind of storage heater so running costs are roughly 25% compared to costs of if I used my heating during the peak period.
@gijsbrandsma @KiwiEV That will not be an Outlander as they have T1 AC sockets, so cannot use T2 AC tethered connections. Not many rapids still use tethered AC these days though, and since fees for public rapid charging became so high I doubt many PHEV drivers would bother any more.
@Ness3168@KiwiEV Some PHEVs can DC rapid charge - the outlander has Chademo (which maxes out at 22kW and cuts out at 80% automatically), as well as 3.5kW AC. So it could potentially charge for around 20-ish minutes on a Chademo rapid. I’ve seen some JLR models charging at around 22kW on CCS too.

Hi Greg, I’m trying to help a friend with their electricity (now supplied by Octopus) - they have a large house with 3ph 3x200A supply with CT metering. They’ve been told it’s impossible to get a smart meter for large supplies like this. Is that really the case?
@OctopusEnergy Is there any news on refunds to Northumbria Energy customers? I’m one of the customers who they charged an initial direct debit in advance of the transfer, but never got onboarded, so don’t have an account number or a bill from them, but am still owed approx £400!
@Neal_UK Yep, I’m one of the many customers who never got “onboarded” by Northumbria after they took the initial direct debit payment up front, so have never had an account number or a bill (as we never actually transferred from my “old” supplier).
@SavingSessions What about those of us who opted in, but for some reason the session did not track, and now shows as “not opted in” in our dashboard. Something must have gone wrong with the opt-on process this time for so many to be affected…
@Petchelli @tillathenun Does H2 not need to be cooled and compressed to fuel up the vehicle (certainly for cars their onboard storage tank needs pressurising to 350-700 bar from what I’ve read)? So that’s not exactly a straight swap. And what do small fleet hauliers who have no on-site fuel store?
@evcarmike @ElecHighway I’m guessing a constrained supply feeding the charger - the new 120kW Gridserve unit replaced a (generally old/unreliable) 50kW unit, but the power supply remains untouched at many of these legacy sites. Why can’t these chargers show their max. power to avoid confusion?
@KateFantom@InstaVoltUK I’m in the same boat. Will be a problem to not have this available when my existing card expires in 7 days as contactless often fails due to needing a pin check which cannot be sorted on the charger itself.
@AbigailDombey All electric 4 bed house, with ground source heat pump, 2 x 32A EVSE (one with load management), 4kW solar PV, and just a 1ph 100A supply.
@evcarmike @ElectricTogeth @EClaire_scott It would be interesting to know what efficiency a Tesla X achieves - certainly one of the bigger SUVs around, and which may show if the EQC and eTron are just poorly designed when achieving such low real-world efficiency.
@evcarmike @ElectricTogeth @EClaire_scott Well compare with a large SUV that averages 25-30mpg then if you are want to compare a less efficient EV to a comparable ICE! Public rapid charging might not be a great deal cheaper, but with diesel just hitting £2.02 per litre in my area then it’s still cheaper for an EV
@InstaVoltUK App or RFID card for me as I need a receipt for business use. Hopefully at some stage we will get auto-charge (car is recognised by charger and starts session automatically, billing to the linked account). Then it’s just plug-and-go.
@ElecHighway Tried to charge at Edinburgh Ikea using the 22kW Ac post - looked like everything was ok when plugged in and card accepted, but came back to find no power delivered and some message about IP address showing 0.0.0.0 on the screen. Is this post faulty?
