@GRIDSERVE_HQ Now do it at 27p/kwh…
I don’t understand why you don’t charge by the inverse charge speed. Ie: charge @ 50kw pay 79p/kwh & block the charger for 5x longer than charging @ 250kw & pay 30p/kwh & allow more customers through the chargers in the same time period earning more revenue
@electricfelix@modernheroestv Remember when this was a big deal new site! Going to be a big winner! Now just a short time later its regarded as almost worthless. No wonder companies are nervous at spending millions on " the latest all singing " charging site. motorway services sites are still the holy grail.
So users of Octopus Intelligent GO get SEVEN hours of cheaper electricity! It clearly says so on your web site, even though it contradicts itself in the box below. I am sure @g__j will agree that Five hours plus an EXTRA Two hours equals SEVEN!
@Bobbadbig@electricfelix@PeteTickler@Tesco Great attitude but reality is very different. Mercedes this week announced it is now starting design of new petrol engines for future cars. Fossil fuel will be a big player for much longer than idealists realise.
@HibbsA Since musk started monetising twitter and I won't pay I find the whole thing a total waste of time. I used to have some great conversations about evs but not any more, I just look at it occasionally.
@cjb_twit @HibbsA @OctopusEnergy The difference is that octopus know and dont mind that people also charge batterys and run appliances. Other companies have ways of limiting the supply just to an ev.
