Twenty-six French citizens have filed a criminal complaint in Paris accusing Israeli forces of war crimes, torture, and unlawful abduction after intercepting three Gaza-bound humanitarian flotillas between October 2025 and May 2026.

The activists say they were beaten, subjected to electric shocks, forced nudity, painful restraints, humiliation, and sexual abuse after being detained in international waters. Medical records reportedly documented serious injuries among some participants.

The complaint adds to two existing French investigations and calls for those responsible to be held accountable.
