Rick Wilson on Trump: “My better angels when he dies are going to be on vacation. He deserves nothing but our hatred. Donald Trump’s grave will reek of ammonia for a million years. He is the most hated president in our lifetimes. As you pass down into the gates of hell, the last sound you’ll hear is the laughter and cheering of Americans as you disappear from this fucking world”
Tim Walz: “Donald Trump insulting me is a badge of honor. I think we all know using that term is just so damaging. Kids know better than to use it, but this is what Donald Trump has done. He’s normalized this type of hateful behavior. First it’s because he’s just not a good human being, but second it’s to distract from his incompetency”
Chums! Baby Dog here. A certain Special Friend called Jasper @suzdavies13 has kindly sent us some Feathers, possibly as a distraction from the NanaPhones. Those who have followed us from the beginning may remember how much I love Feathers. They look so COOL sticking out of my mouth and they are really CHEWY! I can tell that Ron is very impressed with my Feather and wants one of his own… #dogsofX #catsofX
Trump is calling a bill that he doesn’t understand the only way to save America, and 50 people who mostly DO understand it - and hate it - just voted for it because the guy who doesn’t know what’s in it told them to.
What a clusterfuck.
Drink lotsa water now, and say a prayer of thanks if no one just bombed your water line or shut off the water and power to your city 💔. Look out for neighbors w/no AC, open houses and malls overnight for cool sleep centers, freeze water bottles now to give to hot people later.
Was just fully denied the right to travel today at Liverpool St Stn, on any train, because @networkrail staff collectively refused to deploy a ramp for me.
Why? One of them claimed I was “rude” for telling him I didn’t need the lecture he was giving me on why they’d failed to …
@GetAfterIt4U She has been fired from Century 21, but that's not all.

It's a couple degrees warmer this afternoon so we tried to go to the market a few hundred meters away and guess what????
We still couldn't! The @CityofEdmonton buried the sidewalk. Again. Last snowfall they did the same thing and then sent a crew to move it to the center median. They'll have to do that again. That takes significantly longer than plowing it onto the median instead, and seems like a waste of dollars.
At least they tried to clear their section of sidewalk though. Tried is the key word. They made access to the bus shelter actually worse and if it wasn't so cold, the snow wouldn't be so dry and we'd have issues getting through the layer they left behind.
Anyhow, still no butcher for me. @YEGMayorOffice since you can't seem to get operations to take accessibility seriously, could you pick us up a few things to save us the delivery fee and that $2/ bag fee council voted in without considering that if the city doesn't provide proper access, people with disabilities can't take their bag to be reused? Much appreciated.

"The family of a Wisconsin man is suing after they say he died from an asthma attack when his medication price rose from $66 to $539."
https://t.co/L09XWmS3E8
A 22-year-old in Wisconsin died after a severe asthma attack because he couldn't afford the price of his inhaler, which was no longer covered by his insurance.
The pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) that rescheduled his medication is OptumRx, which is a subsidiary of UnitedHealth Group.
This young man was murdered by the for-profit healthcare system in the United States.
Imagine you’re the parents of a young American soldier, you’re told your daughter has died in a military accident, and you decide not to release her name because if you do the President of the United States and his fans will ridicule you and make fun of you until you die.
To make sure tonight's pottywalk 💩was safe, we had a friend come along and they took a video. There's a fair bit of fresh snow ❄️ but you can see how easily we get through on a well maintained sidewalk 🦼. And you can see what happens on the @CityofEdmonton's "safe and passable" walkway (spoiler alert: it hasn't actually been safe and passable for us in 2 weeks because of the base layer they left behind).
Proper winter sidewalk maintenance keeps the community accessible.
Note: both video clips were taken within seconds of one another. The amount of fresh snow was the same in both clips, the only difference is the first clip was a privately maintained sidewalk and properly cleared prior to tonight's snowfall. The city's section was very poorly cleared.
@AACyeg perhaps you can explain to the city that this is a barrier and according to their accessibility policy they are supposedly committed to identifying, preventing, and removing them. I've identified it so 1/3 of their job is done. 🙂 It's now been 14 days without proper access to the community.

I got my new hat and my purse and look amazing but can't go shopping because there's too much snow everywhere.
A big bark of approval to the humans I saw shoveling snow. Thanks for trying to make our neighborhood accessible!

Tonight a plow came and removed all the snow that another plow had pushed onto the sidewalk days ago making it too narrow for wheelchairs or strollers. It looks like they moved it all to the centre of the road. Not sure why they didn't put it there in the first place to save time and money. But it means for tomorrow for the 1st time in 12 days we can go to places like the pharmacy or the butcher! If it doesn't snow too much tonight, that is. Im not sure if all the barking helped but it definitely raises awareness.
Perhaps the @CityofEdmonton can explain why they didn't just put it in the middle of the road in the first place?
