Is visual long-term memory capacity *visual* in its nature, or is it related to an item’s *meaning*? New post by @meta_michelle on a #psynomPBR paper by @ShovalRoy @GronauNurit & Tal Makovski. https://t.co/LuTNF6VmQK

I opened this account on #psynom19 and believe it or not, its anniversary is on #psynom20.

But overall, I did my best in a new and unusual task.

I hope you will hear and enjoy my talk, but believe me, Spielberg I am not. have a nice convention!

(talk #146 - The Locus of Proactive Interference in Visual Working Memory)

[Roy Shoval @ShovalRoy]

Filming my talk to #psynom20 was challenging. Like a lot of people, I do not like seeing and hearing myself from the outside, and together with my perfectionism and self-criticism, I found myself investing a considerable amount of time to produce something I can live with. >>

Glad to be a coauthor on @noamkarsh's @SciReports publication - actions were reinforced by contingent action-effects, with reinforcement similar when effect indicated mere perceptual change vs. monetary gain (regardless of reward size). Free access here https://t.co/HPO5NpwN2P

@EitanHemed @noamkarsh @SciReports

@PsychologyHaifa @RoeeAdmon Indeed, congratulations!

Do response effectiveness and reward value reinforce behavior in the same way? Excited about this new paper with @noamkarsh @EitanHemed @Nafcha_O @Shirel_BE and Baruch Eitam

So my Cohen's d app recently turned 6, and to celebrate I refactored how it's rendered and changed the behavior of the slider. Dragging the slider now have an immediate effect. 🎉🎂

My spoken-word bit about imposter syndrome in academia, now with English subtitles, courtesy of the amazingly talented @ronitibon!*

Hebrew speakers can turn on the English CC's for a very confusing experience! 1/2

A spoken-word bit I wrote and performed at the #ISCOP2020 meeting. If you sympathize with it, please share, and if you want - come talk to me about it

Great talk by @Nafcha_O about the social nature of the archerfish. They prefer to distribute food to themselves and to a fellow fish rather than to themselves alone.
