Rakesh Anand, an IIT Bombay graduate, quit his corporate job in Dubai. His wife Roopika also left a successful banking career at Emirates Bank, ICICI Bank and Reliance Capital.
In 2018, they leased just 2 bighas of land in Uttar Pradesh and started farming.
No farming background.
No family business.
No experience.
People questioned their decision. They made mistakes, learned from local farmers, and slowly figured out organic farming through trial and error.
Then Covid arrived.
Instead of giving up, they started delivering fresh vegetables directly to nearby homes. Customers loved the quality. One family told another, and word of mouth did the rest.
Today, their farm has grown to around 15 acres. Through their farm to fork brand, they supply chemical free vegetables, fruits, grains, pulses, cold pressed oils, pickles and more to families across Delhi NCR.
Rakesh says they did not leave their jobs to earn more money. They wanted to build a healthier life, stay close to nature and give people food they could trust.
Sometimes the biggest risk is staying in a job that no longer makes you happy.
This is the grand haveli of Govind Gujjar ji in Uttar Pradesh. Backward class, ji. So exploited, oppressed, and deprived. Reservation is their only hope in life, ji. Gujjar’s reservation must continue for at least the next 1000 years, ji.

From the Hills of Mizoram to the Heart of India’s Pride.
At just 9 years old, Mizoram’s own Esther Lalduhawmi Hnamte stood in Rashtrapati Bhavan and received the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar from President Droupadi Murmu for her extraordinary musical journey and cultural contribution.
Born in Lunglei to a Blacksmith, Esther began singing at the age of 3, first lighting up local church stages.
But her voice soon crossed screens and borders when her heartfelt renditions of patriotic anthems captured millions of hearts online.
Her viral performances of AR Rahman’s ‘Maa Tujhe Salaam’ and the national anthem ‘Jana Gana Mana’ — released with the Assam Rifles — turned her into a national sensation long before she could choose her school subjects.
Today, this little daughter of Mizoram reminds us that talent, passion, and dedication can make the whole nation listen.
