When we came back from the pandemic I was severely depressed. For reasons beyond social media to explain. One of the biggest things I’m comfortable with sharing is that we lost a considerable amount of people. I smiled and lied when people asked how I was doing. But inside I was exponentially broken, hurt, confused, and angry. I went into the chamber and cried out to God in anguish. I needed a word desperately. I think I cried more in 2020-early 2022 than I had my whole life. All I heard was 1Corinthians 15:58, Galatians 6:9, 2Thessalonians 3:13, Hebrews 12:3, Isaiah 40:31.

At almost 50 and 30 yrs in ministry you should be in your dividend years vs building years. Before the pandemic we were headed to the dividend years. But it was cut. YHWH said through all of this “Son, build and I will cover your hands!” He said “Be faithful”, “Hold on old soldier”. I can’t tell you what God has been doing at this time because I have a mandate to be mute about it right now. But it is mind blowing. However, He has restored my vigor and resolve to stay the course. I see the whiting of the buds in the field.
