@bathnes Do I think there are some in the council (elected and unelected) that would deliberately divert resources to push ahead with works because they knew the park decision was dodgy? The aim being to get in a position where there no turning back?
Absolutely. Yes.
Never mind that someone might walk from City Hall to @westofenglandCA (10 mins at the most) for a 1pm meeting, why Tony Dyer was not at the Weca leaders cttee is a mystery. Surely not because he didn’t want to be seen to voting against transparency and public accountability?
@pippaisright Santander is the worst… Avoid…. They debanked us with zero notice for no reason. Eventually received compensation but they are just dreadful…

Why the £20 Love2shop vouchers? If the council actually used the feedback from previous consultations, people would fill these in without needing a prize draw.
We’ve seen parking charge proposals, RPZ plans and other transport changes go ahead with only mixed or minority support, while popular objections get noted and then ignored. This survey is on a service that’s already ranked second nationally for satisfaction — so what’s the real point?
A £200 prize pot doesn’t buy trust. If you want genuine views on what works and what doesn’t, show that the last round of answers actually changed anything. Otherwise this just looks like another box-ticking exercise. @bathnes 👇👇👇👇
