Maybe we should just schedule the Indy and the Air Show at the same time so that every Toronto resident with ears can just get it all over with in one weekend?

Everbuddy is asking me why I won't fire Steve Clark and that is because we are building houses for all the asighlum seakers who always come up to me on the street and tell me they need a new house even if its not as fancy as Callin D'Mellos house is.

@shawnmicallef The TTC is at least 15 years behind technology the TFL uses. I lived there when Toronto came to check out the Oyster system and was so hopeful…then they came home and reinvented the wheel with Presto. Nothing compares to Transport for London.
Mister Speaker, when I read that Justin Trudeau was considering building a new mansion for the Prime Minister of Canada, I got up from the desk in my home office and walked the 15 minutes to my kitchen and told my full-time chef and butler that this is outrageous!

To put a visual on the myth that we need to open our Greenbelt lands for housing: these are just four of a multitude of transit stations within the region that have Provincially owned parking lots adjacent to transit.
These sites are large enough, in every instance, that community amenities can be built right into these developments, where needed: daycares, grocery stores, cafes, new parks. Even schools, where needed (some of them are in catchment areas with school capacity!).
This is not a radical model - it is a desired model, promoted in Provincial policy statements - and in every municipal Official Plan in the region. We can add more housing without adding more cars. Without building expensive new infrastructure that will strain the public purse. Without compromising agricultural land. We can create strong, new communities.
We know how to do this - and we can do this quickly.
We have land. Lots of land for housing.
Where we put housing should not be driven by the interests of a few developers, seeking to get rich quick based on a myth that we are out of land.
This magazine cover image still hits hard years later.
This is what it looked like, this is how it felt, and for a lot of people, not that much has changed since.
Having a lot of conversations lately about early career development in a remote environment, and it's bleak.
I’ve said this for so long:
People follow people
Emotional connection is the way to power brands and companies.
Been coaching brands on how to activate their employees as the first tier of brand ambassadors.
Going to write more about building personal brands for yourself and your teams.
It’s an untapped lever for so many!!
Happy Canada Day everyone!
Enjoy this thread of our prime ministers as animated characters!
23. Justin Trudeau (2015 - Present)
First son of a Prime Minister to serve as Prime Minister.
Only federal leader to take his party from third-party status to a majority government.
So when Google says they will block ALL Canadian news due to C-18, what does that mean?
Which sites will they consider "Canadian news" and which will they not?
If a news site CHOOSES to not apply for government status, are they exempt?
Nope.
Here's what Google told me. 1/4
Every woman who’s been a “first” anything—especially women w/ lived experience of concurrently navigating gender & racial discrimination—understands the kind of unfair scrutiny Olivia Chow will experience. So, I want to share a few thoughts about how we can be supportive.🧵
.@JoshMatlow on stage now, congratulates Olivia Chow and says the “Rob Ford/Doug Ford/John Tory” era is over, and yes, “if we want to fix the city we’re going to have to pay for it.”
On brand to the end. Love this guy.
