Congratulations to @MrBeast, @MarkRober and the thousands of @youtubecreators from around the world who rallied together for the #TeamWater campaign.
Together with their fans and in partnership with @wateraid, they did the impossible: raising over $40M in just 31 days to bring clean water to 2M+ people for decades.
if we can get storm alerts on our phones, why are disaster responses still so late?
back in January, I had friends in los angeles dealing with the wildfires, and the one thing they all said was:
"the zone-specific alerts came way too late"
but as we all know⦠in disaster relief, every second counts.
thankfully, thatβs where AI can change the game.
because as AI improves, it will only increase our ability to predict and respond to things like wildfires, hurricanes, and floods with greater accuracyβ giving communities more time to prepare.
the end product can probably be something like Google Maps for disaster response.
the same way your GPS reroutes you around traffic, AI-powered tools will eventually be able to reroute emergency aid to the hardest-hit areas in close to real-time.
there's a lot of talk about how AI will make teams more productive, but iβm personally more excited about how it will disrupt problem-solving across the social sector. the possibilities are endless.

i met a founder who raised $2 million to fix how Nonprofits manage their finances.
after our chat, one thing became very clear... most finance tools that Nonprofits use today werenβt actually built with Nonprofits in mind.
between grant restrictions, IRS rules, donor policies, and now the new compliance layers from the July 4th tax bill⦠orgs need finance tools built for the realities of running an actual Nonprofit.
tomorrow, in my weekly newsletter, iβll be publishing an article on everything I learned, and why I think this founder's approach to Nonprofit finances could be a game-changer for orgs looking to focus more time and energy on their mission.
