1/ Before we publish our signals 📡 on $GRAB, we felt it's important to touch base right now so that you can stay ahead of the market. Here's a "big picture" overview of $GRAB:

A friend of one of our team members had to attend a policy conference in Malaysia. Before she traveled from Bangladesh (where Grab is not operational), she downloaded the app on her phone and jumped on the plane to Malaysia.

Grab's mobile app is ranking 46th in the "travel" category in the US App Store.

This is super important because Grab is not operational in the US. So how can an app, without being operational in a country, get so many users or general attention?

This is primarily because the countries Grab is operational in right now are tourist destinations, along with their business and other significance.

Grab operates in 500+ cities across 8 Southeast Asian countries: Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Cambodia. All these nations are established tourist destinations.

- Singapore attracted over 19 million visitors in 2024, driven by its reputation as a safe, clean, and efficient destination.

- Tourists visit Kuala Lumpur, Penang, and Borneo (Sabah) in Malaysia. Ecotourism is rising, with destinations like Taman Negara National Park gaining traction for biodiversity tours.

- Post-pandemic recovery saw Bali’s (Indonesia) tourism surge by 40% in 2024, driven by digital nomad visas and wellness tourism.

- Thailand remains Southeast Asia’s most visited country, with 35 million tourists in 2024.

- Visa exemptions for European travelers and expanded flight routes increased 2024 arrivals by 25% in Vietnam.

Every time a tourist visits any of these 8 countries, they download Grab on their phones in most cases. That explains Grab's rank in the US App Store.

Bangladesh's remittance inflow has stayed below $3 billion for the second consecutive month. In June 2026, Bangladesh received $2.82 billion in remittance, which slightly increased to $2.86 billion in July 2026.

Why is this important?

Bangladesh's diaspora sends remittance each year, which helps the government to increase Bangladesh's foreign currency reserves. Then the government uses our foreign currency reserves to pay for all the imports and foreign debt obligations. That's why, when the remittance inflow starts slowing down, this puts massive pressure on Bangladesh's economy.

In fact, a growing remittance inflow helps Bangladesh to keep the exchange rate steady. When we have fewer foreign reserves, this also means we have to pay more for imported goods, which in turn causes inflation to go up, and millions of people suffer because they cannot afford to pay higher prices.

The absence of personal finance education at every level of Bangladesh’s education system has been a critical driver of generational poverty. Teaching our youth how to manage money is not optional. It's nation-building.

At @adaanist, we are going to tackle this issue head-on.

[Strategic Signals 📡 @SignalsStrategy]

We invest in $BTC and $ETH to change the world.

The power of financial engineering should be harnessed to empower millions of students in underdeveloped and developing nations like Bangladesh. That’s exactly what we’re doing - turning digital assets into real-world opportunities.

One step at a time.

[Shah Adaan Uzzaman @ShahAdaanU]

@adaanist's corporate treasury holds both Bitcoin and Ethereum. In fact, we invest in these assets every day to support our mission of providing high-quality education for free.

We allocate a capped percentage of our reserves to $BTC and $ETH through a daily Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA) policy.

PS: We don't formally call our corporate treasury an endowment because we are not a non-profit like Columbia and Harvard. We are registered as a Delaware Corporation.

This is not investment advice.

[Shah Adaan Uzzaman @ShahAdaanU]

We even bought some $FIG shares for @adaanist's corporate treasury.

[Strategic Signals 📡 @SignalsStrategy]

We invested in $FIG at $33 per share.

We invest to change the world...

[Shah Adaan Uzzaman @ShahAdaanU]

@adaanist now manages over $11,000 in assets - including US and global equities, and cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum - in our corporate treasury.

We’re not just an edtech startup. We’re a tech company using financial engineering to make world-class education permanently free for students.

We don’t sell courses. We don’t gatekeep knowledge.

We’re not burning money. We’re growing wealth to change the world.

[Shah Adaan Uzzaman @ShahAdaanU]

I’m happy to announce that we’ve raised $100,000 in our first pre-seed round for @adaanist from an American angel investor.

We trained an AI agent to automate data entry at @adaanist.

Just 5 weeks ago, we were planning to hire at least 10 individuals to enter data into our website.

Now, we are no longer hiring for data entry - we are training AI agents to complete these mundane, repetitive tasks for us.

In the past 1.5 months, we have created over 450 lessons for our students. Entering all those lessons into our Content Management System (CMS) used to take our team hours.

Now, we mostly let AI agents do it for us while we stay in the loop.

AI agents are not perfect - they hallucinate and make mistakes.

So after the agent does its thing, we proofread, then design and add animations to provide a high-quality learning experience for our students.

This is one of our ways of providing world-class education, entirely free, from @adaanist.

We are not replacing humans with AI.

Instead, we are empowering our human team to do what it does best: being super creative and innovative.

We hire humans to be human.

Meanwhile, our AI team takes care of boring work so we can focus on building crazy things.

I am hiring an "Executive/Personal Assistant".

Remote Job + Flexible Hours (Your performance will be measured based on results/outcomes, not on how many hours you are spending at the job.)

Responsibilities + Required Skills:
No formal educational qualifications required. I don't care about your degree or CGPA.

1. You have to be very good in English writing, reading, and speaking.
You have to sometimes take some of my meetings and calls online when I am unavailable and talk to native English speakers. So, being able to speak clearly and fluently in English is a must.

2. You must be tech-savvy. You have to be open to learning new technologies, including some of the softwares and AI tools that I use.

I will personally give you some tutorials on my workflow. But you have to be willing to learn some completely new stuff pretty quickly.

Your ability to unlearn and relearn will be greatly valued.

3. Basic to intermediate video editing skills.

4. Data Entry/Proofreading
We use an AI that enters all the data into our websites/platforms with very little human intervention. However, AI still hallucinates and makes error in some instances.

Your task will be to review, proofread, and then publish our content after our AI has entered data.

Your primary task is to free up my time as much as possible so that I can focus on other things.

Selection Process:
1. I will directly interview you.

2. After your interview, you will be given a set of tasks and assignments across 2-3 weeks.

Throughout this process, I will look for whether you have the mindset to learn new things and new ways of doing things even in a different and challenging environment.

3. After your selection, you have to go through 2 months of probationary period, which will be paid.

Important Notes:
1. You have to give me notice 6 months before leaving the job.

2. You won't be hired if you are not trustworthy and cannot remain discreet. You will have to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before starting in your role.

If you are a "Jack of All Trades and Master of Some," this role is perfect for you.

You don’t need to share your resume. Instead, send me a concise message via X, including:
- Your skillset

[Shah Adaan Uzzaman @ShahAdaanU]

In every airport, there are so many stores. My dad works at one of these stores at New York's JFK Airport as a salesperson for the last 2 years. He barely makes enough to pay the rent to live in a basement and put food on the table for my mom and younger brother. I don't exactly come from a financially privileged background.

After August 5, 2024, I had to hide in Bangladesh for 3 months. Then, I came to the US on November 4, 2024. I studied for 3 years at IBA DU as a BBA student but couldn’t complete my degree in the final year due to ongoing threats to my life from various entities in Bangladesh.

After I came here, I had to immediately start working. My dad is 55 years old, and my mom is 52. I have seen my dad standing for hours at the store in the airport to earn just the minimum wage in the US. So I had to take the financial responsibility for my family.

Every month, I financially contribute to my family so that our small 4-member family can survive. Due to my work, I don't get to live with my parents anymore.

I am not a US citizen. I have held a US Green Card since 2023. That’s why I was able to come to the US.

I don’t exactly like taking pictures of myself. But I love this picture. This is the picture I took with my mom the day I got admitted to IBA DU, in front of our IBA building.

So, from the best school and the best business school to one of the best universities in the world - we covered all of it. People only believe in great endings; we believe in the entire journey.

Columbia is a test-optional university. Since I didn’t have the circumstances to sit for the SAT, I didn’t have to take it. However, I studied in Bangla medium schools (Government Laboratory High School and Dhaka College). That’s why I had to take the IELTS.

Columbia is a very expensive school. But Columbia generously offered me financial aid that would cover my entire tuition fee. I still have to cover my living expenses.
I will gradually share what I have been doing in the US since November 2024 just to survive.

I have been fortunate enough that an American - whom I didn’t personally know before (and who has nothing to do with Bangladesh) - was gracious enough to make a bet on me and helped me survive. While my friends abandoned me and jumped into canceling me by forming mobs on social media, this American, his family, and friends empowered me.

Even though America welcomed me with open arms, I don’t intend to take US citizenship.

I will tell my story of what I’m doing and building in the US some other time. Till then, please keep me in your prayers. I won’t let you down.

That's why we are bullish on Bitcoin - $BTC.

[Shah Adaan Uzzaman @ShahAdaanU]

If the U.S. economy and equity markets were to crash, and the dollar were to weaken significantly while bond markets became destabilized, it seems increasingly unlikely that wealth would flow into fiat savings accounts or traditional safe havens like gold. Fiat currencies would be losing purchasing power, and gold - while historically reliable - is illiquid, hard to store, and limited in upside.

In such a scenario, Bitcoin - $BTC may emerge as the preferred store of value.

We’re approaching a moment where Bitcoin is no longer viewed as a speculative asset, but rather as a credible alternative to gold and even U.S. Treasuries.

Unlike fiat, it’s not inflationary.

Unlike gold, it’s easily transferable, verifiable, and programmable.

And unlike bonds, it doesn’t carry credit risk or yield dependency.

While Bitcoin may not yet fully replace government bonds or gold in terms of global institutional confidence, the direction of capital and sentiment is clear:
In an era of weakening fiat and broken trust in legacy institutions, wealth will increasingly flow into Bitcoin.

[Shah Adaan Uzzaman @ShahAdaanU]

I have been accepted into Columbia University for my undergrad, and I will be majoring in Economics. My entire tuition will be covered by the financial aid I was awarded.

📡 In a lot of cases, investing in a company that is working on expensive and not-so-profitable (yet) cutting-edge technologies doesn’t always make much strategic or financial sense for someone who has a very low-risk tolerance from an investment standpoint.

Our CIO @ShahAdaanU uses Nintendo $NTDOY and particularly Gunpei Yokoi's design philosophy "Lateral Thinking with Withered Technology" as a mental model to evaluate and make investment decisions.

Read his newsletter/thread below to understand Yokoi's philosophy that shaped the gaming industry👇

Game Boy (1989)

In 1989, while competitors like Atari $PONGF and Sega $SGAMY were focused on handheld consoles with color screens and more powerful processors, Nintendo opted for a mature, cost-effective 8-bit processor and a monochrome LCD screen.

This seemingly outdated technology allowed Nintendo to prioritize gameplay, portability, and exceptionally long battery life using readily available and cheap AA batteries.

By focusing on these core elements and offering the console at an affordable price, Nintendo made the Game Boy accessible to a vast audience.

📡 The monochrome screen, while technically less advanced, was power-efficient and allowed players to easily discern gameplay elements. The lower cost made it accessible to more consumers and developers, leading to a vast library of games.

The result was a phenomenal market success, with over 118 million units sold, making it the best-selling console of the 20th century.
