The TV companies let the National Grid know before ad breaks etc so it’s seamless for users.

It’s really just legislation restricting some types of heat pumps fitted by the Gov scheme encouraging us to fit heat pumps. You can still buy one, but you won’t get any help with the costs.

For safety high windows in places like hotels have a child lock added as small children tend to climb out of them. You must be able to open them fully by disengaging the lock manually. Your grandma can open her windows.
