Miserere mei, Deus,
secundum magnam misericordiam tuam;
et secundum multitudinem miserationum tuarum,
dele iniquitatem meam.
Have mercy upon me, O God,
after thy great goodness;
according to the multitude of thy mercies,
do away mine offences.

The Islamic Revolution in Europe has begun.
This is France. Today, we see the same scenes in Berlin. Every day, these hordes waving the Arab National Socialist flags of Palestine grow larger.
In Iran, it took roughly two years to go from this stage to complete chaos and the establishment of the Islamic Republic. We saw the same symbolism, the same flags, and heard the exact same slogans.
Brace yourselves.
Every generation of Catholics discovers, often painfully, that the men who govern the Church are not always worthy of their office. Perhaps this is why Jesus choose St. Peter?
Belloc's famous observation about the Church's astonishing capacity for mismanagement is funny because it exposes an uncomfortable truth. Given two thousand years of corruption, incompetence, scandal and betrayal, how is the Catholic Church still standing?
Empires have risen and vanished. Institutions far better administered have disappeared. Yet the Church endures, despite the damage inflicted by those entrusted with her care. This is no defence of bad shepherds. Our Lord's warning about millstones was deadly serious. Nor does fidelity demand that we pretend every papal judgement is wise or every bishop beyond criticism. But we make a profound theological mistake when we confuse the failures of the Church's human administration with the integrity of her divine constitution.
The Church does not endure because her leaders are good. She endures because Christ is faithful. He promised that the gates of hell would not prevail against her. He never promised that her bishops would always be impressive.
Criticise what deserves criticism. Defend what must be defended. But never allow disappointment with the men who govern the Church to become an excuse for abandoning communion with her. Christ did not ask us to trust in the perfection of His shepherds. He asked us to remain faithful to His Church.
The growing influence of harlots and devouring mothers is fixable with greater devotion to the Virgin Mary.
Women have been women since Eve. God gave them Mary as a second Eve to emulate. A perfect mother and companion.
She spreads the Good News right after the annunciation when visiting Elizabeth. She glorifies God, not herself. She does everything a mother should do for Jesus. She is a good wife to Joseph despite their celibacy, or perhaps because of it. She accompanies her Son to weddings and takes care of the reputation and image of those who invited her, prompting the first miracle. She does the will of God, as Jesus explains when she tries to get him from between his disciples and companions.
Crucially, she accompanies her Son during His Passion. She is there at the foot of the cross, witnessing, neither passive nor active. That pain, like all her previous pains, she keeps in her heart, rather than unleashing it on the world through rage, narcissism, or insecurity. Then after all this suffering she becomes a mother to Jesus's friends and prays with them constantly.
Even in secular terms, this is a woman who is the antithesis of the devouring mother, the harlot, and even the Karen (good as a Karen can be). She is the ideal woman and all women miss her. We all need her in our lives.
Modernity hounded Our Mother from public life. Bring her back. Get yourself a rosary.
Kingdom of Heaven is one of the biggest psy-op movies ever made to make Christians bad and muslims good.
> No context about the historical background of the period. There is no mention of Constantinople or the Eastern Roman Empire, which was the protagonist; no mention of Emperor Alexios I Komnenos, who initiated the First Crusade; and no mention of the reasons for the First Crusade, because of the unstoppable massacres of Christian civilians in the Middle East and the Holy Land. The First Crusade was a notable success for Byzantium.
> The movie never mentions why it was called a "crusade." Of course, it was not named that in the beginning. It was called in Greek "Σταυροφορία"(stavroforia, from the words stavros = cross and fero = to carry). When the muslims entered Jerusalem, they stole the remains of the Holy Cross. The Greeks from Constantinople then began a crusade primarily to take back the Cross and the Holy Land. The word stavros (cross, the Holy Cross) became crux in Latin. Thus stavros = crux, and stavrofories = crusades.
> Doesn't show the Islamic imperialism and slaughter of unarmed Christians. Christians who lived under islamic rule were relegated to the status of dhimmi which was inferior to the status of the muslims. Christians and other religious minorities thus faced religious discrimination and persecution because they were banned from proselytising in the lands which were invaded by the Arab muslims on pain of death, they were banned from bearing arms, they were banned from holding certain professions, and they were obligated to dress differently in order to distinguish themselves from Arabs and muslims. Under the Islamic law (sharia), Non-muslims were obligated to pay the jizya and kharaj taxes together with periodic and heavy ransom which was levied upon Christian communities by muslim rulers in order to fund their military campaigns, all of which resulted in their contribution of a significant amount of their income to the Islamic states, leading to the empoverishment of many Christian communities, and these financial and social hardships forced many Christians to convert to Islam. Christians who were unable to pay these taxes were forced to surrender their children to the muslim rulers, who would sell them as slaves to muslim households, where they were forced to convert to Islam. Christians paid this price during all the Caliphates (Rashidun Caliphate, Umayyad Caliphate, Almoravid Caliphate, Abbasid Caliphate).
> Balian was a noble man married to Greek Byzantine Maria Komnene. Again NO MENTION of Constantinople which was the center of the world, no mention of the Greeks, no mention of Eastern Roman Empire.
> Guy de Lusignan and Reynald de Chatillon are portrayed as archetypal fanatical villains although is more complicated and out of context.
> The film largely ignores Eastern Orthodox Christians in the kingdom and reduces complex politics to good vs. bad factions.
> The Battle of Hattin (1187) is shown, but details like army sizes are off (Saladin's force wasn't 200,000 OBVIOUSLY)
> The siege of Jerusalem gets some tactical elements right, but Balian's motivational speeches about shared holy sites and "the people matter more" are anachronistic, medieval leaders didn't speak like 21st-century secular globalists humanists funded by George Soros.
> The Crusader states weren't just "Western colonizers" this is pseudo-history and erases thousand of Greco-Roman history.
> Literally pseudo-history, not based on primary sources. Movie shows Christians as greedy, hypocritical, violent fanatics in a drab and muslims, led by the noble and merciful Saladin, come across as more civilized, tolerant, and justified in reclaiming Jerusalem "back". Literally PSEUDO-history.
> Balian delivers speeches promoting religious tolerance. For example "What is Jerusalem worth?", and the idea that extremists on both sides are the problem, but the weight OF COURSE falls more on Christian "extremism".
Do I really need to explain why Holywood depicts "Bad Christianity" and "Good Islamism" duality?
Disgusting pseudo-history.
One of the biggest psy-op movies ever made to manipulate the common thought of the uneducated masses who never opened a book in their lives.
And it seems it worked perfectly for their political games.
And again, I mentioned it thousands of times. You never see movies about the Byzantine period and the Greeks or what happened to Anatolia, only about early Rome, and then they skip about 1,000 years when the Greeks played an important role up until at least 1100 AD. Constantinople was the CENTER of the world and the richest city in the world. How can you skip that kind of history of literally A THOUSAND YEARS EMPIRE? You never see Hollywood depict what was happening in the Eastern Roman Empire, where the sciences, art, education, and theology literally flourished.
For some reason, they don't show/teach you how the Greeks played an important part in shaping the history of that period; they won’t show you the real reasons the Crusades started, that was the response to non-stop aggression from muslims who were enslaving Christian from Europe, Anatolia, Africa and Middle East. Also, they won’t show you how Anatolia was Islamized, what happened to Greece during the Ottoman period, or how North Africa was Arabized and Islamized.
Interesting, isn’t it? Food for thought. You should be more awake of what's happening.
Lee Kuan Yew experienced the perils of ethnic diversity firsthand when it tore his own country, Malaysia, in two.
40 years later, he distilled the lesson into one sentence: “In multiracial societies, you don’t vote in accordance with your economic interests and social interests, you vote in accordance with race and religion”.
No rinden cuentas. No explican nada.
NO DEFIENDEN DERECHOS. DEFIENDEN CAJAS.
QUE SE ABRAN TODAS LAS CUENTAS. QUE SE PUBLIQUE CADA CONTRATO. QUE CADA RESPONSABLE RINDA CUENTAS HASTA DEL ÚLTIMO PESO. LOS ARGENTINOS MERECEN SABER EN QUÉ SE GASTA SU DINERO.

Die ETH-Professorin Annalisa Manera bringt das zentrale Problem der Schweizer Stromstrategie auf den Punkt:
«𝗝𝗲𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗮 𝘀𝗮𝗴𝘁: 𝗕𝗲𝗶 𝗞𝗻𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗵𝗲𝗶𝘁 𝗸𝗮𝘂𝗳𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮𝘂𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗺 𝗔𝘂𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱. 𝗔𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗲𝗻𝗻 𝗷𝗲𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝗮𝗴𝘁, 𝘄𝗼 𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗻 𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝘂𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱?»

I remember it was the instinct of many on the left to throw these girls under the bus, while those of us who defended them were considered terribly gauche.
On the death penalty as on the topic of war, Elizabeth Anscombe spoke with a nuance and wisdom of which most people seem stubbornly incapable. Here are some passages from her essay “The Dignity of the Human Being” (from Human Life, Action, and Ethics, at pp. 68, 69-70). As she argues, on the one hand, considered just in itself, the death penalty is not only not contrary to human dignity but in fact affirms human dignity. But on the other hand, the degrading way the death penalty is often applied is contrary to human dignity (as illustrated by the appalling case in Tennessee this week). Morally serious thinking about this matter requires taking into account all of the considerations she raises.
