@lovekovie@nishtiyduhom For the record, idk what I was smoking when I wrote this. Bulgarians swallow their unstressed syllables left and right. I feel like their pitch, length and loudness varies dramatically from syllable to syllable
@VolodyaTretyak I took a Vienna-Lviv night train in summer 2023 and they had to adjust to the gauge at the Hungary-Ukraine border. It took a while. I'm sure that wasn't an issue 100 years ago
@2024dion It feels natural if "gravity" is pushing cities down against bodies of water. Less so if they look like they're hanging down with no stable surface underneath.
@thejelvprint It's crazy to realize how warped my Twitter perspective is, I've always thought Hunter was the 4th. Also I've been active on here since before 2021 but never heard of these ppl until 2023 but now they're constantly on my feed even tho I don't follow any of them 💀
@SkylerforNY @MissCherryPi@LinkofSunshine Like, concerns about AI guzzling water are valid! But the people saying its use innately damages the human soul or whatever sound like Luddites trying to stand in the way of planes or photography.
@SkylerforNY @MissCherryPi@LinkofSunshine You're right. It's still perfectly logically consistent to morally oppose any use of generative AI while acknowledging that its abilities and useful applications are far greater than they were just 3 years ago and show no signs of plateauing
@transitmatters What does "new crossovers in the Central Tunnel" mean? Just adding more crossovers? Laying a third track? Replacing the E branch crossover by Copley w a flyover?
@salingergregor@StatisticUrban Oh that used to be terrible but I'm happy to say they've fixed that. Now it's under 25 min. The current general manager of the T is really fantastic
@salingergregor@StatisticUrban It's gotten better in the last 2-3 years. The green line is fundamentally incompatible with modern standards of service, though, and no amount of renovation can fully change that.
