As a teacher, I would believe it is super beneficial for school districts to have website restrictions on all provided devices, not only for the safety of students but for the purpose of appropriate content being viewed at all times as well #Edchat2022

@aubreyryan18 I agree it is a good way to get students engaged. One tactic that may be beneficial to ensure students aren't roaming for other non-educational games to provide devices to students with pre-loaded games.

Emerging technology into the classroom has come a long way in enhancing the educational environment. With all the classroom science lab simulators and virtual reality games giving students new opportunities, students are really benefiting. #edtechsp21

@WhittMallory I agree, I often see many blog post sharing what they believe to be factual information without evidence or source behind it and this can be very misleading to students.

A couple issues with search engines in classrooms are that as a teacher we need to know everything being searched is classroom appropriate, there are not unnecessary ads surrounding the sites, and that all information being researched is coming from reliable sources. #edtechsp21
