I was drawn to this science as an undergrad, read the papers in grad school, put in the work as a postdoc with the NASA LISA Study team.

You can do badass top-notch science AND a be compassionate human.

You can create scientific spaces that ensure that people can engage with one another in truly respectful manners

@samayanissanke Such a good point. For me science was the first time I came across these opaque networks in a professional setting (aka outside of high school...) . Opaque is such a good word for it. A system based on this doesnt breath inclusivity.
