Each lamp takes time, care, and countless hours to create. I can only make a limited number at a time. Thank you to everyone who chooses to support handmade art and an independent disabled artist. ❤️

Today, they hanged him in Iran for protesting.❤️
Now you understand why I showed a graphic image of a hanged man in front of 2,000 people in Washington DC.
If that image was too sensitive for people in the West، this is Iran's daily reality. 4 to 5 people hanged. Every. Single. Day. By the same regime that Western governments are rushing to negotiate with.
Right after my speech, this man was hanged.
Fathollah Avari was arrested in Hamedan during Iran's nationwide uprising in January 2026. The Islamic Republic secretly executed him on Tuesday no last goodbye, no final visit with his family.
They charged him with "waging war against God" .
And yet some of you in the West are more worried about Islamophobia than about people being executed under the Islamic regime.
Ask me again why I hold up graphic images. 💔

When my choir was dropped from the London Marathon last month because of my gender critical views, I initially thought it might be best to cancel our next gig.
But then I thought: that's exactly what these activists want.
To damage relationships within the choir. And with race organisers who have loved our performances and invited us back year after year.
And, of course, none of us had done anything wrong.
My gender critical views - that biological sex is real and matters - are lawful and widely held. And none of the other singers due to perform on the day had even publicly expressed any views on the topic.
Understandably, some of our regular singers are still feeling a bit bruised by the whole experience. And Manchester is a long way to travel.
So I had to pull together a 'scratch' choir - at short notice. They did a fantastic job.
The CEO of Scope, the disability charity that dropped us from the marathon, said my presence would be a "distraction" - without, apparently, being able to explain what that meant.
Today we did exactly as we've done at every single performance to date: created joy, fun and support for runners raising money for good causes.
Which many would say is exactly the right kind of distraction.

This is the problem with tenure. It’s like the East German labor system; you cannot be fired. The permission structure discourages competence, results, even sanity. Here is exhibit A. Iran didn’t get the bomb, yet this neocon cheerleader won’t be held to account for his facts-challenged idiocy.
@networkrail and @SW_Help solution to no DDA access at Wandsworth Town
Is to add in 2 extra flights of stairs whilst they put in some lifts in 18 months time
The sense of logic that drives CDM in this country is now totally absent

Three Iranian teenagers are at risk of execution.
- Ehsan Hosseinipour Hesarlou
- Matin Mohammadi
- Erfan Amiri
Arrested during the December protests at just 17–18 years old, they now face execution after the Islamic regime upheld their death sentences.
They need the world’s attention right now.
Share their names before it's too late.

The African baobab stores water. This is well known. What is less often stated is the scale: a mature baobab trunk can hold up to 120,000 liters of water. The trunk is not wood in the conventional sense. It is mostly soft, water-logged fiber packed inside a thin shell of hard outer wood. In severe drought, the trunk visibly shrinks as the tree consumes its own reserves.
There are eight species of baobab. Six grow only on Madagascar. One grows across mainland Africa. One grows in northwestern Australia. The African species, Adansonia digitata, can live more than 2,000 years. Some of the largest specimens in Zimbabwe and South Africa developed hollow interiors large enough to shelter people: historical accounts record hollows used as shelters, as a small chapel, as a prison, and, in one instance, as a pub.
In African oral traditions, the baobab is sometimes described as a tree God planted upside down because its crown, in the dry season when it sheds its leaves, looks more like a root system than a canopy. The branches extend without leaves for months. The tree spends half the year looking like it was buried wrong.
Baobab trees are now dying across southern Africa at rates scientists find alarming. The largest and oldest specimens, some more than 1,500 years old, have collapsed or died within the last decade. Climate change is the leading explanation. Trees that survived the Roman Empire and medieval Europe are not surviving the last 30 years.

Brazil’s far-left president Lula da Silva lashes out against Trump and Rubio after finding out that the U.S. is terror-listing the communist narco-terrorist groups Comando Vermelho and PCC.
Why is he so protective of them?
