@MusingsOnChrist The members where I serve were shocked at how many would agree that Jesus was not God. It didn't make sense to them that someone could say they believe in Jesus, but not know who He is.

@SteveBanks5924 @MusingsOnChrist @mattmillsap Luke 9:5 the disciples were not told to destroy those who would reject them or their message, but to leave them with a symbolic warning. The Lord let them have the freedom to choose.
That doesn't mean He supported their choice, but he did let them choose.

It seems like a basic misunderstanding of the term freedom of religion. Freedom of religion is not freedom from judgment.
