As a marketer I'm just marvelling at this offer.
If you've listened to Hormozi's money models you're seeing a money model in real life.
THIS IS SOME MASTERFUL PROMOTION.
I bet if they run this offer as an ad they will PRINT. My goodness.
People come in in 5's they eat goat. They have to drink...
Others just come in to watch
Chances they finish the goat is low, they pay.
Irresistible offer → Traffic of 5's → Cross sell.
And the best part of a food business is this...you only need people to try you once. So repeat buyers are guaranteed.

One thing about working 9-5 in Lagos is that you can be “Team Lead, Operations,” with ACCA, MSC, ICSAN and so on, in one of those glass buildings on the island, and still borrow money for rent.
Been thinking a lot about the future of software (and jobs) as I put together a new talk focused on the topic. Here's are a couple of the main takeaways distilled to a few sentences:
Coding might be "solved", but permissions, identity, security, scalability, design, networking, compliance, + putting it all together with a good UX is still extremely hard.
I'm sure this will change more over time, but I feel that's the way it is today.
And it seems that the more complexity we remove, the more we take on. And instead of just knocking out 100 tickets faster, we said, "hey, let's add a thousand tickets."
I guess this is Jevons paradox in action! TLDR: Software still requires a lot of human attention.
And everyone has expanded the scope of their work. We're able to do 10x, 20x, 30x more than what we could in the past, but we fill that efficiency gain by just taking on equally as much work (actually more).
"Member of Technical Staff" is generalized for a reason, and we're seeing similar broadening of other roles (like my own role as what I'd consider "Member of the Growth team" at @cognition!
The shape of most roles looks nothing like it did just a year ago. So how to excel in this job market? I think in the past you typically were either "broad" or "specialized".
Today you can more easily become "excellent" or at least "good enough" at multiple things, so that probably would to be my north star. And agency matters more than ever, and will continue to become more important (but I guess "always has been").
Reminds me of Joseph Stalin, the Russian dictator who once came to a Politburo meeting holding a chicken in his hand. During the meeting, he began plucking its feathers one by one. The helpless chicken cried out in pain, but he continued until every feather had been removed.
When the chicken was completely naked, Stalin let it go. He then took out some chicken feed from his pocket and began to feed the chicken from his palm. After sometime, Stalin walked away. Surprisingly, the chicken followed him wherever he went. And even when he sat down, the chicken quietly climbed onto his lap and sat there.
Stalin then explained to his surprised Party members; "This chicken represents the people. You must torture them, brutalize them, and take everything away from them. Then when you give them a little, just peanuts, they will treat you like a hero and worship you."
The impression that once you go abroad oyibo babes will start running after you usually gets corrected after 1 cold, lonely winter.
Ask your guys (that’s if they’ll be honest), some of them have maintained a clean sheet for 2+ years.
The ones who thought they were sleek and interpreted courtesy as 'green light' made it to sexual offenders' list in their first 12 months abroad.
If you were not already getting decent women in Nigeria, there’s nothing for you.
That’s why I said the obsession Nigerian men have with their women cheating isn’t a cuckhold thing. It’s based on experience.
Nigerian women dey cheat gan
Nothing pisses me off more than adults who are still chasing the childish idea of a stress free life. They want their work, relationships, kids to be stress free. Delusional lots.
To live is to grow. To grow is to suffer.
Get with the program. The rules won't change for you.
Coming to Canada made me realize that “Nigeria messed us up”. The only thing in our head is hustle hard, party hard by drinking too much alcohol, eating Nkwobi and Amala. But all hope is not lost. A friend of mine is Learning how to swim at 45. Someone learned how to bike.
This is how to predict your future:
I made this tweet yesterday:
“The closest prediction of your future is the result of the top guy in your industry. If you beat them, then you are an anomaly.”
A few people asked me to explain, so here goes -
If you are a doctor, the top guy in your industry is the CONSULTANT.
His life is the best possible outcome of your future - because it is the end game of your career path.
Which means, if he earns ₦800k a month, your future top earning will be around ₦800k, plus everything & the life that income gives him.
You will not escape this end game - NO MATTER how hard you work. Because the game is capped.
Which means, the best way to make more than ₦800k and have a life significantly better than the Consultant is NOT to work harder; it is to EXIT the game he is playing.
Working harder will simply accelerate you towards the unfavorable end game. So why play it?
Which means you need to find a player that has the life you want.
In the case of the hospital, it can be the doctor that owns a hospital chain.
So if your end game is to be rich, then the hospital chain doctor's game is the best play. Not that of the Consultant.
End games are scattered all around us.
If you are a teacher, you can look at the principal or highest-paid school administrator.
If you are a banker, look at the branch manager, regional manager or executive director.
If you are a lawyer, look at the senior partner of the law firm.
If you are a civil servant, look at the director or permanent secretary.
If you are a footballer, look at the highest level you can realistically reach in that career and ask yourself if that life is what you want.
If you are a taxi driver, look at the guy who has spent 20 years driving and ask yourself if you want his end game.
If you are playing the JAMB => university=>NYSC =>9-5 game, look at where the person 20 years ahead of you ended up.
If you are an entrepreneur selling products online, look at the biggest person playing the same game. Trace what game they are REALLY playing, instead of just working hard.
You must ask: “Do I even want his end game? or do i need to play a different game”
Because if you don't like the destination, working harder is actually a bad strategy.
My barber moved to a new location two weeks ago and I tracked him there today.
While he was cutting my hair, he was getting calls from customers asking where he was and for directions to the new place.
Two even came while I was still there, and we were all joking about the whole move.
I found out one of them drives from GRA to NTA Road to cut his hair, and even when our barber changed location, he still drove down to the new place.
When men talk about the lengths they for to maintain one barber, women think it's a joke😂😂
There's one Elect-elect student who's working with me.
He borrowed 100k from the business cos his phone got bad and needed to get another one.
I am to deduct 25k from his monthly pay, and I've only deducted once.
Got to my office this evening, and noticed something.
He does this all the time, actually.
Our powerhouse is behind my office, since my office is the last room in the building.
Once it's 6pm, he goes to the powerhouse to test-run everything.
Starts the Mikano, runs it for a while, then turns it off.
Starts our firrman gen, runs it for a wile then turns it off.
Changes some gears, because I could hear the kpaka.. Kpaka.
Just to ensure we run very smoothly every night.
You need to see this guy whenever there's an electrical issue.
Some days too, he has rescued us when it took a while before our electrician arrived, even in my house, by fixing some minor things.
He has been very instrumental to the smooth running of the business.
And to surprise him...
I will be waving the remaining 75k.
He would be shocked to see his full salary tonight.
Three boring habits would multiply the number of millionaires tenfold.
Save fifteen percent of your income into index funds. Live on the other eighty-five. Avoid every debt that is not a mortgage. Not clever, not fast. Just quietly done, for decades, by almost nobody.
