Guénaël on our european team built a CCA design explorer that runs openfoam straight from ntop

ntop ML orchestrates the sweep while our openfoam plug-in is used for implicit interop, all runable / tunable via LLMs and packaged up into a design explorer dashboard for us humans to review

[nTop @nTopology]

nTop geometry feeding directly into @ANSYS Discovery, tied together in an automated workflow via OptiSLang. Setup takes 30 minutes. Once. Every run after that is near-zero overhead.

⚡Impact of Large-Scale Structures on the Flow Around a Transonic High-Pressure Turbine Vane⚡

In this video, a high-resolution large-eddy simulation of a transonic HPT vane operating at realistic Reynolds and Mach numbers is shown.

Curious about the math/physics involved with simulations like these? Tomorrow (Thurs 1/13) I will be giving a talk on modeling compressible gas-particle flows @NASA_NAS Advanced Modeling and Simulation (AMS) Seminar Series. Come on by! https://t.co/dtzKg68zMA

Getting the ducks in a row🦆: “Yuan et al. (https://t.co/H5KrkTipM1) consider whether, by organising themselves optimally, ducklings in a row behind a mother duck can reduce, eliminate or even reverse their individual wave resistance.” Focus on Fluids https://t.co/YRan6k3MeP

Simulations reveal that ducklings swimming in a single-file formation behind the parent can achieve a wave-riding benefit whereby the wave drag turns positive. Gives a new meaning to "get your ducks in a row" 🦆@JFluidMech #dynamic #equilibrium #swimming https://t.co/HUmZXhhCcV

Efficient, consistent mixing of two fluids is important in many industrial processes. Numerical simulations show that optimal stirring strategies have unusual motions, which differ from a simple circular path. https://t.co/X7aVSotQrg #mixing #optimization #physics #math

Which #FEM #software more capable to #model the post failure behavior of reinforced #concrete #construction?
To answer this #question, a reinforced concrete #beam has been simulated under bending, up to #collapse, in three FEM software, namely: #ANSYS, #ABAQUS, and #LSDYNA.
