Dashcam vision has captured the carnage of a single pothole, with at least 25 vehicles forced to stop over on the side of the road, unable to drive home.

A queue of cars had to wait to be towed from the area overnight from the Frankston Freeway in Seaford.

Kingston Councillor Georgina Oxley spoke out following the incident.

"The state of the road is unsafe and has been for years," she said.

"In 2021 I called on the State Government to rectify this situation and maintain their roads and yet years later nothing has been done."
