Locals in Uttarakhand have forcefully stopped a langar that was set up for pilgrims visiting Hemkunt Sahib. Langar was set up on side of main highway where pilgrims travel and easily access services.
Have these goons started considering themselves above law? Are they manufacturing another conflict to attack Sikh pilgrims?
Are @OfficeofDhami@uttarakhandcops@pushkardhami@ukcmo looking into it or are they waiting for another conflict?
Shocking :
On The Way To Sri Hemkunt Sahib , Locals People Have Capped The Water Taps With Valves So That Pilgrims Have To Buy Drinking Water Bottles From Their Shops,
Pilgrims Have Complained It To Gurudwara Committee.
Man, Why Are Pahadis So Greedy, @pushkardhami Any Action?
#Sikhs have lived in Britain for over a century—many made the ultimate sacrifice serving our country wearing both #turban and #kirpan.
As I wrote in the @Telegraph, Sikhs deserve better than a knee-jerk reaction curbing these hard-won religious freedoms.

Donate to Khalsa Aid, United Sikhs, SGPC, or your local gurdwaras instead.
Otherwise, your money will end up funding politicians’ lavish 5-star stays under the pretext of flood visits.
This letter from Ludhiana DC is an order to SDM to act as duty magistrate during CM’s stay at Hyatt Hotel while visiting flood-affected areas.

Sikhs have been in Alberta since 1800’s they have every right to enjoy their festivities and their heritage.
Sikhs are loving people who are always always ready to help in disasters, pandemics. Research their history.
My friend and I were racially abused last night outside Victoria Station at around 20:30 by a man that was drunk and as high as a kite. We were hugging each other goodbye and all we could hear was a chorus of ‘fcuking p*ki’s, fcuking stink’. Pretty sad and ofc very original…not.
The Sikh belief is that we are all one; we are all connected. And we are all better off when the people around us can thrive.
It is in that spirit that I wish Sikhs in Canada and around the world a happy Sikh Heritage Month!
Sikhs don’t attack religious places. Moreover, no attack was made on the temple; it was a clash outside the temple, which is still unfortunate. However, it was presented in the media and on social media as an attack on the temple, which is regrettable. Even in 1984, around 35 gurdwaras were attacked, but no Sikh attacked any temple,” said Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh, commenting on the recent incidents in Brampton and Surrey, Canada.
Union Culture Ministry's removal of Bandi Chhor Diwas post unfortunate- @SGPCPresident
-Government criticized for going after those spreading hatred on social media
Amritsar:
Taking notice of the Union Ministry of Culture removing a post from its social media platforms regarding Bandi Chhor Diwas, the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami has termed it as biased. In a statement issued from the SGPC office, Harjinder Singh Dhami said that it is extremely sad and unfortunate that the country's ministry removed a post depicting the history of Sikhs after posting it.
It is noteworthy that a post regarding Bandi Chhor Diwas was posted on the social media of the Union Ministry of Culture, which mentioned the day’s history and tradition. A video regarding Bandi Chhor Diwas was also posted with this post, but it was removed after some time following hateful and objectionable campaign by the right-wing supportive social media handles.
The SGPC President expressed strong objection to such phenomenon and said that India is a multi-ethnic and multi-religious country, where the respect for the history and beliefs of people of all religions should be protected. Harjinder Singh Dhami said that if the Indian government adopts such a discriminatory attitude, then how will the rights of people of all religions living in the country be upheld. He said that it is unfortunate that this post dedicated to Sikhs by the Central Government has been removed due to hateful propaganda spread under an agenda by right-wing people spreading hatred against Sikhs, their principles and uniqueness on social media, and especially on the post of the Union Culture Ministry. He said that the SGPC has already expressed this objection many times that the anti-Sikh agenda is being promoted from many social media accounts/handles, another example of which has come to light after the post by the Union Culture Ministry was opposed by these people spreading hate propaganda.
The SGPC President said that the uniqueness of Sikhs is that they celebrate festivals in a unique way in the light of their history, but this characteristic of Sikhs is not being digested by people who have hatred towards minorities. He said that the Centre Government also removing the post that paid respect to the Sikh Gurus by following the hate-spreading social media users raises questions. He said that it is the duty of the governments to stop such people, but it is unfortunate that the government itself is taking decisions under their influence. Harjinder Singh Dhami said that the Sikh community respects the festivals of every religion, but it is also not acceptable that anyone hurts the unique and distinct identity of the Sikhs.

We appreciate your quick response. @dc_amritsar
Please restore the original name, addition will actually mean dilution of the original name. There is no logic for diluting the original name which reflects the heritage of the place.
Please ensure that this new name “Jalebi wala” is completely removed.

A statue of Maharaja Ranjit Singh was disrespected last night in Mississauga during a pro-Palestine protest. These actions were hurtful to the Sikh community. Maharaja Ranjit Singh is a symbol of Sikh sovereignty and the Sikh Kingdom and under his rule, all people were treated as equals.
We appreciate messages of solidarity from the @NCCM and the Muslim community, including offers to meet with the Sikh sangat. The actions of a few do not represent all.
Misinformation and disinformation campaigns originating from India regarding this incident aim to divide Canada and our communities. Stay vigilant.
